Great Hotel! Stayed in hotel as part of business event. Very friendly and welcoming staff in the hotel. Food in the restaurant is delicious, cocktails were incredible. Big shout out to Isaac, one of the team who looked after our group that week. Really helpful and full of ideas and suggestions of places we should visit whilst in New Orleans. On my last day attended the Burlesque Brunch which was fantastic. Big applause for Miss Katrina Waters. Would not hesitate in returning to the hotel. Only reason not 5*, couldn't turn off the fan in bedroom. Could turn of the aircon, but the fan would keep going and was quite noisy.

Beautiful views and vibes ! Love the decorations for Christmas. Lance in the front is SO SO sweet and will take care of you. You can tell he enjoys his Job very much.Great food and amazing coffee and treats as well . We love it here ! ! ! ! ! 😍😍😍😍

Very mixed review here. Pros - Great location - clean, quiet and safe with a park and a grocery store nearby We stayed for proximity to Superdome - highly recommend - but also easily walked to to and from the French Quarter. Fun decor, vibe and friendly staff. Coffee shop in lobby was super convenient, room service was delish and rooftop pool (very small) and bar were fun extras. Housekeeping could use some training - our dining table didn't get wiped or cleaned once during our 4 night stay nor did our mini bar get refreshed. But be warned if something goes wrong during your stay and fixing it requires anything beyond a very basic effort, you will be disappointed. I dropped my phone down the elevator shaft on Sat night and was told they couldn't retrieve it until Tuesday at the earliest. I had questions about the validity of this but it was clear they weren't going to make an effort to retrieve it so I asked for help in booking a car service to the airport the following morning. They couldn't help with car service but could arrange a taxi. I didn't have a high level of confidence that a taxi would show up based on my bizarre interactions with the bellman so my husband was able to book a car service for us. Good thing he did because come 5:30am, there wasn't a taxi in sight. I got home on Sunday to an email stating they had retrieved my phone at 7am that day, and that it appears to be in working order and they would like to send it to me. Excellent news - I gave them the shipping address. I also received a very nice call Tuesday from the manager apologizing for the taxi, the bizarre bellman and the mixed messages on phone retrieval timing. Wednesday and Thursday pass with no phone so I send a couple of emails with no response. Friday no phone so I send another email. No response but I do receive a shipping notification from UPS that my phone was finally sent out Thursday, 5 days after it was retrieved. And then later that day an email from the maintenance manager saying the phone was shipped. Phone finally shows up Monday - 8 days later and it no longer works. At all. In summary, if we were staying at a lower priced property - we paid north of $1200/night here - I might have written all of this off but given how they market themselves and their prices, I expected more. Don't expect more.

Hotel is adorably decorated and the staff are super friendly. Rooms are a comfortable size and had all the amenities. Very much enjoyed getting coffee from Lance at the cafe in the lobby. Would love to stay here or at another Virgin Hotel again!

Overall good. The bar staff and the Bell staff were outstanding ! Great location. I would say staffing is an issue. There were several times we had to call downstairs multiple times and we also had a room change. The food selection at the bar was decent and the service was good.
