Virgin Hotels New Orleans

Brazil here! I’ve stayed in so many different hotels in NOLA (one of my favorite cities in the world), and honestly, this hotel is the best, in my opinion! I love everything about it, the vibe, the decor, the rooms… but the staff is the best part of it. Everybody is so nice! And Lance is the sweetest guy in the café (sorry it took me this long to share this feedback, but I promised you I would and I don’t break my promises)! :)

I was OVERCHARGED for my stay which is unacceptable. Please be advised that additional charges were made AFTER checkout with no permission. I spent 30 minutes on hold trying get a hold of a manager to resolve the issue, and was simply told to call my bank, with little effort from the hotel staff to take responsibility or help fix the problem. All they had to do was split the payment on two cards initially.. which they failed to do. A week later, I see multiple pending charges.. why are my debit cards/ finances still accessible AFTER checkout? On top of that, the rooftop amenity was not available to all guests, despite being advertised otherwise. To make matters worse, the security guard, Bob, was incredibly rude and unprofessional, making the experience even more unpleasant. The final straw was unauthorized charges on my debit card, which left me feeling scammed and frustrated. This hotel clearly lacks accountability and decent customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. It’s a huge hassle! I was told to call the bank, when the discrepancy is for the hotel to correct!

I had a terrible experience in this hotel. Please be careful on what you leave in the room... a new cashmere scarf and a flatiron disappeared from my suitcase.....It tool me few emails and several long phone calls times to finally get in touch with the appropriate person in the hotel to let them now what happened... really bad customer service! I would personally do not recommend to go!!

I stayed at this hotel with my wife during on recent getaway to New Orleans. It was unusually cold and rainy for NOLA however, The valet staff was excellent and professional. Front desk staff was accomodating and responsive to our concerns. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We both enjoyed the daily breakfast that was well prepared. Our main gripe was that the heating system throughout the hotel seemed to be weak and there was a bunch of space heaters being used by the staff at the front desk and even in the restaurant. I am not sure why this was. Maybe the hotel HVAC was not designed to accomodate the unusual and bitter cold in NOLA that crept up unexpectedly. Also be warned that there is virtually no self-parking available but only street parking, which is not free. Valet parking is virtually mandatory if you want to enjoy your time there. Nevertheless we were both pleased with the hotel and our time there. We would definitely return and -again.

Outstanding stay at Virgin Hotel New Orleans. Completed a short trip with family to celebrate a birthday. We stayed at this hotel, per our travel agent and absolutely loved it. Wonderful customer services and beautifully decorated hotel. They also have a wonderful restaurant that we recommend even if you don't stay there. Many staff to thank, but we were very grateful for Tristan. He served us dinner on our last night and simply made our evening special. The valet, and breakfast staff also were also excellent as well as housekeeping. Virgin hotel provided us with daily housekeeping a rarity service after COVID. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
