Arlo NoMad

I don’t usually review hotels but the staff at the Arlo Nomad went so far above and beyond in regards to customer service. It was Jamilah in particular who treated me with incredible surprise treats because it was my birthday week, and I could see that she takes pride in treating her customers with care and respect. She is a national treasure! I can’t wait to come back to NYC for another stay. In terms of the hotel, it’s clean, comfy, and conveniently located to all the great parts of the city.

I have stayed at the Arlo Nomad a total of three separate times and each time I am more impressed. Not only do the staff make note of my likes for my room, they make me feel appreciated. This was the perfect location during my stay for September NYFW. I almost forgot the U.S. Open was going on at the same time because the staff kept everything running smoothly, as usual. I can’t wait to come back.

Lovely hotel in a great location that is close to the Empire State Building. We were on the 26th floor and had a great view of ESB and Vanderbilt. Staff were friendly and helpful from my emails prior to my visit and throughout our stay. We came to New York as a surprise for my daughter’s 21st birthday and the hotel helped me to make it extra special with balloons, Prosecco and macarons in the room on our arrival. The rooms are compact but this wasn’t an issue, they are clean and have a hairdryer, fridge and clothes steamer. We had a problem with our tv however all staff were helpful in trying to get this sorted out for us. There is a bodega in the lobby which is great for a coffee on your way out, we also ate at the diner before leaving for the airport and food was lovely. You get $15 a day to spend in the diner, would have been even better if you could spend at the bodega. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely return.

We stayed here whilst staying in NY over Christmas. From the time we arrived until we left, the staff were so Friendly,helpful and always acknowledge us when going out and coming in. Brianna, Jemilia and a man I have forgotten his name but such a credit to your hotel. The room was Amazing with views of Empire state building, you must go up on the rooftop for views 😳.. it had been snowing the day before and was a bit icy but the pictures we have are great. Would definitely recommend this hotel and in good location.

Anthony at the front desk was so incredibly helpful! I am a very light sleeper & sensitive to noise & Anthony helped find me the perfect, quietest room. I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years & the staff are always very helpful & kind. Thank you Anthony & team!!
