About the Hotel

Centrally located in Midtown Manhattan, Bryant Park is a little bit of Europe in New York. The green lawns of the park are overshadowed by the New York Public Library, and all around sidewalk cafes and upscale boutiques bustle with activity. Home to weekly book and flower markets, Bryant Park is also periodically covered by white tents for New York Fashion Week. There is no more exciting place to be in all New York, and it is here that you will find the uber-hip Bryant Park Hotel.

Wonderful stay

What a lovely stay at the Bryant Park Hotel! It was close enough to Times Square to be able to walk to the theatre but it was out of the chaos of that area. And what a great time to visit with the Winter Village set up in Bryant Park (there was ice skating). I have to give a special shout out to Josephine Kinsella at the front desk. She was so gracious and welcoming. I could have chatted with her all afternoon. She gave the hotel a real human touch and set me up in a beautifully renovated room overlooking the park. Customer service is alive and well in her hands. Thanks, Jo! I got breakfast at Le pain Quotidien next door and a late night meal at Heritage up the block. Ive already booked my next reservation at the wonderful Bryant Park Hotel!

My home away from home

I just love the Bryant. This was my 5th visit and now my official NYC hotel. I visit the city several times a year and Scott and his staff always treat me like family. Jo at the front desk was so kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond for me this trip storing a suitcase for me while on a day trip to DC. It was SO helpful to me as I didn't want to lug it on the train for a one day stop. My room is always perfect and there is no better location in the city. See you soon friends! Liz Fleissner

Worth it!

We enjoyed our stay at the Bryant Park Hotel. It is somewhat expensive (perhaps not by New York standards) but worth it. It is in a great location, close to Times Square (but not too close) and within walking distance of many attractions and the Broadway shows and nightclubs. I had requested a quiet room as I am a light sleeper. We received a recently renovated room on the 12th floor which was very nice, and quiet. We ate at the Koi restaurant and the lounge in the hotel. Both were excellent. Shannen, the front desk manager, was also wonderful. She helped to return my travel hat which I accidentally left behind in the room. The next time we are in New York, we will come back here.

Our home away from home in midtown Manhattan

Another terrific 7-sleep stay at the BPH. The front-line staff are all super-friendly and helpful. Jo was amazing (as always) and somehow manages to remember our names, and Shannon was lovely and quickly found us the brand of (superb) mattress in our room. The apples at the check-in counter, breakfast muffins/coffee and (especially) the lemon ice water that seems always to be available -- were much appreciated. We plan to keep going back! The rooms are light-filled and a nice size, comfy sitting area, hardwood floors with a couple of area rugs - and are super-clean and tidy. Our room was on a lower floor and faced Bryant Park - we were not bothered by the outside traffic/noise at all. The hotel seems to be close to everything - a few blocks from most Broadway plays, there's a Whole Foods just across the street, as well as a great bagel place, Zuckers. On the same block of 40th Street there are several terrific spots to eat or grab a coffee.

Weekend getaway from Hurricane Milton

Had a great time at this hotel. Right next to everything, restaurants subway, times square. The room was very clean and spacious, that means a lot to me. I felt really comfortable. I want to really give a shout out to "Jo" the check in receptionist. She made us feel welcome, she suited our needs and just a wonderful person in general. Very kind spirited. There should be more people like "Jo" as a receptionist who really cares for people and you can tell she likes her job and that really counts. 👍
