A Lower Manhattan original, Gild Hall is a place of character and comfort that runs deep, just off the bustle of Wall Street, One World Trade and the Seaport District. Our boutique hotel endures as a neighborhood cornerstone and showcase for the design aesthetic of Jim Walrod and the photography of Slim Aarons, two American originals themselves. Relax in our library lounge and enjoy rustic Tuscan fare at Felice Ristorante, a cozy local haunt. Explore the cobblestone-lined downtown streets, then indulge in the bespoke comfort of our guest rooms where rich wood, leather furnishings and brass accents anchor the soothing, neutral palette. Jim Walrod-designed tufted leather headboards, custom SFERRA linens and locally crafted bath amenities add a level of understated, appreciated luxury. At Gild Hall, luxury and hospitality welcome you on an intimate, honest scale.

The staff when I check in knows me by name. The hotel is very service oriented. Room service from Felice is amazing, great food and fast delivery. The hotel has moody and cozy vibe. The bar is welcoming and I like to grab a drink there after work. Always feel welcome with or without friends.

Beautiful older building with high ceilings and lots of character! Front desk staff were all very helpful and friendly. Smallish restaurant Felice was charming and accommodating. We only had breakfast, but would have been happy to enjoy a lunch or dinner.

This is such a unique hotel in the heart of the financial district. It feels like a boutique experience but is with one of the largest hotel chains in the world, so you still have all of the Hyatt benefits. Beautiful lobby, gorgeous wood-paneled dining areas, etc. The room (which was the smallest they offer) was plenty big for a solo traveler, with nice touches like paper and pencil, a motion sensor nightlight, and individual shampoo and conditioner. It was also clean with a very comfortable bed. The workout facilities - three small rooms on three different floors - were as advertised (i.e. just a Peloton bike, Peloton rower, and free weights), but everything was clean, in good order, and easy to find. Would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I stepped into this warm wonderful hotel I was greeted with a rush of joy. Out of the bustle of downtown NYC streets this place is a respite and refuse from the hustle and bustle of the lovely neighborhood. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Acknowledgment of my loyalty and sincerity of their appreciation for my choice of staying with them was above and beyond. The lobby is cozy and lively. Full of character and charm. Guest rooms were designed with extra high ceilings that gave your room a sense of old fashioned comfort. Loved the fine bathroom toiletries provided too. Everything that hotel stays should be are wrapped up into this gem! Can’t wait to come back again and stay longer. Kudos to the staff

Arrived past midnight after hours of flight delays. We were greeted by a very friendly person at the front desk who was happy to pour us our glasses of prosecco. Room was the biggest I have stayed at in NYC, bed was spacious and comfortable, pillows were amazing. Shower was very nice as well. We very much enjoyed the nightly prosecco and the friendly service anytime we needed anything. I can't imagine staying anywhere else next time I come to NYC!
