Comfortable bed and free procecco after 3! Lovely staff and quite hotel. This hotel was cozy and warm. The staff were so attentive. They texted to check in during my stay and provided helpful recommendations for me and my friends. I look forward to staying there during a future visit.

Had immense difficulty with the heating unit glitching, as well as the hotel staff slamming the doors on my side of the hotel. The front desk and wait staff were incredibly friendly, but it's really difficult to make up for lost sleep when you're paying $200+ a night.

i really enjoyed my stay at Gild Hall. I was initially thinking of staying in Chelsea to be more central but I really liked the location and was glad I chose it. There is plenty around, the station is close by and it's a nice place to return to after a long day out. You can also get to Brooklyn Bridge easily and one morning I walked from the hotel to get the ferry to Domino Park and then wandered back over the Williamsburg bridge in time for breakfast -which, as others have said, is very good (well aside from the very bland porridge which I would give a miss unless you are eating that for dietary reasons!) There is happy hour each day and I really enjoyed sitting at the bar after a day out. Even on a Monday it was vibrant with some great music and the bartender Francesco in particular was fab. People have commented on the rooms being dark and yes, you probably wouldn't choose Gild Hall for light and bright as there are several tall buildings all around but it is peaceful, quiet, clean and the bed is super comfy. I also had to do a little work and the desk was great for that. There is no mini bar anymore or kettle (I think you can ask for one) but there is a coffee station from 6am to 11 in reception which is nice and to be honest, if I wanted a drink I would choose the bar over sitting in the room anyway. As others have also said, the staff are all great and it's always a nice welcome when you return. They were also amazing when I left something behind in my room so a big shout out to the team and especially Rob for being so helpful to me!

Great hotel! Breakfast was included in our stay and was a nice addition. Choices were perfect. Had dinner in the restaurant one of the nights. Enjoyed both entrees. Eight year old ordered from menu with ease. Walkable to many subway options to get us back and forth to Grand Central. Nice neighborhood. Close to Fulton Street and Oculus. Would definitely stay again.

Great location in the Financial district. The staff is friendly and helpful. There's a great Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. The rooms are nice and spacious. This hotel is very walkable to the World Trade Centers and close to many places to eat. Highly recommend the Gild Hall.
