We loved our visit to Gild Hall. It was in the financial district of the city. The area was quiet, with great restaurants and a ton of NYC history attractions. Everything was walkable which made it super convenient. Valet parking made it easy to unload and not worry about parking. The hotel had a cool vibe from the minute you walk in. Our room was clean and a nice size. There was a nice little restaurant and bar at the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I had a terrific weekend stay at Gild Hall celebrating his birthday. The building was beautifully designed, and the room felt chic and luxurious. Even better - the bed was very comfy, and our room was so quiet! That's usually an issue for me when staying in NYC. However, what was best about our visit was the staff. Ben helped solve an issue with our reservation upon arrival; he was so nice about it and kind. The next day, Robert helped me out in a pinch with my lunch and gave me some great restaurant suggestions. And Pamela was so sweet to offer us late checkout on our last day. I was blown away with how nice and helpful they were. Do not hesitate booking here - we were so impressed with the whole experience!

Great hotel with incredible staff and management! Our room was as advertised and very clean. We didn’t make it to the restaurant but we ordered a drink and it was fabulous. The location is small walk to Fulton station and has us up in Central Park in 30 minutes.

I stayed for 2 nights at Gild Hall on a work trip. I’ll start with the positive. The staff, especially the front desk staff, was very friendly, even texting me to make sure I was having a good stay. Glass of prosecco upon check in which was a nice touch. Got good Globalist recognition, including an upgrade to a large suite, which included a kitchen and a separate bedroom and living room. Room was quiet, with little street noise. Breakfast was fine, though a limited menu for globalists. Value proposition was good — it was about half the cash rate of the nearby Beekman, also a Thompson property, and lower price than most properties in the area. Location was near transit and near my lower Manhattan work. All that said, I don’t know if I would choose to stay there again, despite the reasonable cost. The room, while clean, felt tired and I really didn’t want to spend any time there. The bathroom tiling was breaking. The whole property felt like it could use a total refresh. The toiletries were a mishmash (Molton Brown and Bowmakers) so felt like an afterthought. There were no blackout curtains, just Venetian blinds which didn’t fully filter out morning light. I spent the rest of the trip at the much newer and nicer Thompson Central Park and it was hard to believe both properties were the same brand.
