Great location for seeing Broadway shows! Many theaters were an easy walk from the hotel. Eddie was a standout server and bartender at the Stinger Cocktail Bar and Kitchen. He was attentive, friendly and genuine. By far the best service we have had so far in our week long trip to NYC.

IHG Diamond Ambassador here. I spend at least 60 nights a year and various hotels around the world, so I have a pretty good reference point. The Intercontinental Times Square is a disservice to luxury. If you’re considering staying at the Intercontinental New York Times Square, don’t bother trying to contact the staff—you’ll have better luck shouting into the void. After pressing the laughably misnamed “Instant Service” button on the phone in my suite, I was left on hold for over 30 minutes. Eventually, I gave up and made the trek down to reception myself, where I informed the staff that it was completely unacceptable to wait this long for service in a so-called luxury hotel. Their response? Zero apologies, zero acknowledgment, and zero effort to make amends. This isn’t just poor service—it’s no service. If I wanted to pay $600 a night for a suite with absolutely no assistance, I would have booked an Airbnb. At least there, I’d know what to expect. Suffice to say, I won’t be staying here again. The Intercontinental Times Square may have the location and a hefty price tag, but it utterly fails to deliver on even the most basic hotel experience. An expensive joke. Avoid it.

My husband and I have stayed here a few times and always came away loving the experience. So, when I took my daughter and two of her friends to NYC to celebrate her 13th birthday, we thought this hotel would be a good option. We weren't wrong! It is perfectly situated in the heart of Times Square, close to theaters, shopping, and great restaurants. Yet, it is far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of Times Square to make it a relaxing and enjoyable stay. More importantly, the hotel itself is managed very well in that the staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and updated, and the restaurant has good food options for both kids and adults alike. They even have a children's "mocktail" menu, which the 13 year olds really enjoyed. I highly recommend staying here on your next family - or romantic couple's - getaway!

Review for Nick at The Stinger Bar and Cocktail We recently visited The Stinger Bar and Cocktail Lounge during our trip from Houston, TX, to Manhattan, and we had the absolute pleasure of being served by Nick. From the moment we sat down, Nick’s thoughtfulness, expertise, and enthusiasm made our evening unforgettable. Nick’s level of engagement was unmatched—he genuinely listened to our preferences and used his extensive knowledge to recommend cocktails and pairings that exceeded our expectations. It felt like he was crafting a unique experience just for us. Despite being on the East Coast, Nick brought the warmth and attentiveness of Southern hospitality to our table, seamlessly blending it with the sophisticated, high-energy vibe of Manhattan. The Stinger Bar itself is fantastic, but Nick elevated the experience to something truly special. He exemplifies what great customer service is all about. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend stopping by and asking for Nick—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Nick, for making our visit one to remember. We’ll definitely be back!

We have stayed at the Intercontinental several times. Everyone has always been so helpful and accommodating. This trip however, Matthew and Nick went above and beyond to take care of our family. Their care and attention was above and beyond!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the InterContinental Times Square. The location was perfect, just close enough to the action but still quiet ”enough".
The staff were all very friendly and incredibly helpful. We will be back.
