InterContinental New York Times Square

Intercontinental New York Times Square is our top choice every time we visit New York. The staff are genuinely friendly and provide excellent service without the usual "tipping culture" pressure prevalent in the city. The rooms may be small, but the spectacular city views more than make up for it. What a sight—falling asleep and waking up to the stunning New York skyline! Still it is the customer-centric soul of the hotel that truly sets this hotel apart. They remember you by name and your preferences from previous stays—after initially requesting a bidet in 2019, it has been provided for us ever since. The level of attention is deeply appreciated! A big thank you to Cheryl for the ever-warm welcome at check-in, Paulina and Lambert for arranging the bidet, and Hector, who always greets us with a genuine smile and takes care of our transportation needs. With its excellent location, cleanliness, breathtaking views, and outstanding staff, this hotel consistently delivers a memorable stay. Looking forward to our next visit!

Third year in a row, this wonderful hotel in the heart of Times Square is a WINNER! It is beautiful, safe & we love the attached restaurant and bar called The Stinger. It has delicious food & drinks and we love catching up with our favorite server, Nick, who always provides exceptional service & food recommendations.

Went to the stinger bar and it was spectacular!! Our server, Nick, was outstanding. Great server and took care of us. Can’t wait to come back. The hotel is wonderful but the bar was outstanding. I can’t compliment Nick enough at the bar. He made suggestions and led us to perfect cocktails. Wonderful

The Intercontinental Times Square has become our go-to hotel whenever we visit New York. The location is unbeatable, offering easy access to Broadway, restaurants, and many of the city's top attractions. The rooms are comfortable, well-appointed, and provide a touch of luxury that makes for an enjoyable stay. However, one aspect that could significantly enhance the guest experience—especially for families—is the inclusion of a microwave and a functional mini-refrigerator. While there is a designated space in the room for a refrigerator, it is occupied by an in-room bar stocked with pre-selected beverages. For those traveling with children or anyone who prefers to store personal snacks, drinks, or leftovers from New York's amazing restaurants, a small refrigerator would be far more practical than a pre-stocked bar. Adding these amenities would make the Intercontinental even more accommodating for families and long-term guests. Despite this, we continue to enjoy our stays here and hope the hotel considers making this small but meaningful change in the future.

Very nice and clean hotel in a good location. All staff were really nice and I enjoyed the check-in/out area for ambassador members. We arrived at the hotel at 9am to check-in and there was an available room for us so no complaints there. If I wish something was different it would be the rile on upgrades. I originally booked a JR Suite and was told even with Ambassador they don’t upgrade suites, which is unfortunate as this is the only IC hotel I’ve been to that has that rule. HOWEVER, that won’t stop me from visiting the hotel again when I’m in town. Would definitely recommend.
