Other New York City luxury hotels may talk about service, but at Loews Regency New York Hotel, we’ve been living it for over 50 years. You’ll experience our special brand of relaxed sophistication when our bellman greets you with a friendly smile and our concierge calls you by name. Loews Regency New York Hotel's concierge can assist with things like theater tickets, checking exhibits at the local museum, or getting you a table at the hot new restaurant the locals can’t stop talking about.

The hotel is in a great location, near many shops and restaurants. Check in is easy and friendly. There is excellent security and need key for elevator to go to your floor. Room was large and quiet. Excellent sleep. Excellent water pressure in shower. Didn't try out the bar or restaurant but looked fun- next visit. Excellent hotel.

The hotel location is wonderful and the hotel itself is wonderful. Rooms are spacious. The opportunities are in the service - and for the price, just dont add up to the hotel being “worth it”. In short - it doesnt seem as if the leader of this building/team has experienced the collective service the staff provides. Examples: 1. At check-in, all of the front desk staff were on phones (no worries). When done, the staff at the desk in front of me chose to talk to each other without even so much as eye contact towards me. This lasted a few long and awkward seconds and then i was asked to approach the desk. 2. My room was not ready. No worries. They would hold my bag and then let me know when the room was ready. They never let me know. 3. I ordered breakfast in the room. I left to explore the city, i returned mid afternoon. The room was cleaned, sheets changed, breakfast table still there. 4. I requested late checkout (4pm as a benefit of booking through Amex). I had a do not disturb sign on the door. The cleaning staff knocked on the door around noon and again around 2pm. Both times i was napping. When i left the room, staff did say have a good day and seemed more concerned about whether i was checking out. 5. There’s a well stocked mini bar in the room. There’s wine in this mini bar. There are no glasses in the room. 6. There’s one full length mirror in the room. There is furniture in front of the room. All small details that individually don’t ruin anything, but it just seems as if the hotel hasn’t experienced it from the standpoint of a customer. I hope this changes as the location and facility are beautiful. But at its current price, there are too many other options in NYC. The believe you have Victor (older black man, curly gray hair?) down at front desk. He was the best service in this

I have been going to the Regency Hotel in New York City for well over 40 years. As a person who travels for business more than 150 days a year, I can say that in my opinion, the Regency is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Besides a great location, great rooms, and great amenities the real secret to their success is their staff. From the doorman, the bell staff, the front desk, the concierges, The cleaning , The restaurant staff, and everybody else, they have the best, most accommodating nicest people I have ever met. It makes for a great hotel experience. Steve R

Great hotel accommodations. Close enough to everything but away from the craziness that is NYC. Fantastic rooms and one of the best showers around. Clean rooms and comfy beds made for a relaxing visit. Entire family had great experience all around.

I stayed here in room 1014 (a "Luxury Room, 1 King Bed") for three nights in September and October 2024. Rating: 6.5/10 Positives: • Excellent location on Park Avenue and 61st, just two blocks from Central Park and close to the subway • Clean, spacious bedroom • Comfortable bed and excellent air conditioning made for a great night’s sleep • Lively bar scene with an impressive cocktail menu, though prices are very steep • While not a 5-star property, the 4-star quality justifies the price, given the prime location Negatives: • The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are in need of a refresh • No complimentary water bottles were provided, only two Fuji water bottles for purchase at $12 each – a frustrating trend I’ve encountered at other Loews properties • I strongly disagree with Loews’ pet-friendly policy. While my room was clean, the idea of pets having previously stayed there is unsettling to me. • The elevators were temperamental, and I noticed many guests, myself included, struggling with the buttons
