From the moment you are greeted at street level by the doorman until you checkout days later, everything about this hotel is incredible. It is more than a hotel, it is an experience. The lobby is on the 35th floor of the Time Warner building and the view from the lounge is spectacular. Everyone is on their A game. From the front desk to the concierge, the housekeeping staff to the lounge servers, they all remember your name, they greet you personally, and in some cases, they remember your breakfast beverage of choice. The bed is comfortable and the view over the Hudson river, especially at sunset, is fantastic. The pool is heated and large for hotel pools. Seating can be difficult as there is only one love seat and two individual chairs for the entire pool section. Breakfast in the morning was incredible. There were no bad seats. The view toward Central Park is stunning in the morning. The menu selections are varied and service is excellent. The amenities in the room are amazing. The turndown staff left chocolates at night and small bands to keep charge chords together. As well, they noticed that I wear glasses and left a glass-cleaning cloth on the bed side. Overall, an incredible experience. This hotel is greater than the sum of its parts. Whatever the executive office is doing, it's doing it well. The employees genuinely enjoy their work and they are happy to interact with guests. My only regret was not having time to experience the spa. This will be for my next trip to New York. Thank you Mandarin Oriental New York for a world-class experience.

I have to confess that this stay was very special for me, the level of service and the view that I had from my room was really one in a million! I want to thank Anna L for making my stay so wonderful and memorable, thank you for your professionalism and kindness. I would never forget this experience at the Mandarin Oriental NYC, I have been to few MO in different cities but this one is unique. I also want to thank Alisa S for her time, patience and friendlyness! I really appreciate it. Hope to be back very soon!

Great location, wonderful staff, clean and updated rooms - couldn't really ask for more. The staff and room were truly exceptional. In particular, Miles and Charles at the front desk were amazing, as was the gentleman at the host station at the lounge, and my interactions with housekeeping even were all top notch and everyone was truly lovely to be around. Overall my stay here was wonderful and the perfect way to spend a week in NYC. The connection to the Columbus Circle center was nice, too, as during sub freezing snowy/rainy weather you could still shop at the stores, find food and drinks, pick up things at Whole Foods, etc. without stepping outside.

Exceptoinal service and hotel as always. I would be shocked to stay at any Mandarin Oriental that was less than exceptional and this quality. From check-in and room service to the view overlooking Central Park from a suite, the temperature int he room, lighting, shades, bathrooms, and living room was exceptional. Restaurant int he hotel was a great option instead of going out.

service is not great. we were recommended to park on the street, but the snow was coming, which made the driving out quite difficult. In the room, we have to ask for water, which makes guess feel difficult. we ask for hot water, it is charged, overall, the experience is good, but not great! and it is super expensive, more than 1600, per night.
