The Muse New York

We stayed just before Christmas; the ambience was so warm and inviting. The location is outstanding just off of Times Square. From check-in, every member of the staff was so kind and professional. We left behind a pair of Beats headphones - brand new at nearly $500 - and housekeeping promptly turned them in. Angel Collado and Harrison Parker actually arranged to have them FedEx’d to our home. Truly above-and-beyond service. Thank you!

Hotel is a perfect location for timed square literally steps away. Reception staff were always really friendly and helpful. Room was bigger than other hotels we looked at in New York was always spotlessly clean and bed was comfy. Would have been nice to have some bottled water and tea and coffee making facilities but nothing like that in the room. Our room was at the front of the hotel and noise from outside through the night often kept us awake but suppose that’s to be expected so close to Times Square . Despite this we would use this hotel again albeit we would request a room at the back of the hotel or on a higher floor.

Good comfortable hotel and the beds were comfortable. Given it was New York, we thought the room size was decent, and room in the hall portion to store suitcases etc, it was quite wide. The lobby did lack a bit of atmosphere over Christmas, even though a tree was up. At some stage there must have been a cafe in hotel as you could see bar etc. Not sure what I was expecting! I wouldn’t stay in Times Square again, I’ve been to NYC before and should know better! It was hectic trying to get to hotel, road was also closed due to traffic mgmt. staff were friendly. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay, depends what you are after from location.

We had a large clean room and experienced friendly & prompt check in and check out. The doormen were helpful. The hotel's location near Times Square for dinner and theatre and for seeing other sights via subway in Manhattan is perfect. We would return to this hotel.

Absolutely brilliant location, and the rooms are a really good size and well appointed. Staff are great and very helpful. The two things that let it down during this stay (weren't issues in previous stays) were the amount of noise from the street (late night revellers, loads of road works and refuse collections) if you have a front facing room, and there was no bar or catering. The latter was less of an issue as it's close to that many bars. But worth bearing in mind. Overall though, a good option, at decent prices
