Omni Berkshire Place Hotel

We absolutely love the staff at the Omni Berkshire in New York City! Yumi, William, and Lenny consistently go above and beyond to make every stay exceptional. Their hospitality and outstanding service make this hotel stand out. From the moment you step into the lobby, you’re greeted with genuine smiles and a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The rooms are clean, stylish, and comfortable, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is fantastic, with easy access to all the major attractions. It’s the only place we choose to stay whenever we’re in NYC, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended!

An excellent location that provides quick access to all of the main attractions. We were able to walk to almost everything that we wanted to see. The staff was friendly. We didn’t try the food here, we heard other guests comment on the high prices. So we just skipped breakfast or some mornings grabbed breakfast at other places nearby. Our view was of the back of the hotel, we were very disappointed in that. So verify what your view will be when making reservations because there are not other locations within the hotel that you can view the nighttime skyline despite the advertising and miscellaneous photos. Our room was quite clean but significantly older with the carpet coming up in a few places. However, this certainly did not ruin our stay…we were not there to stay in the room! We were there to see NYC and had a fabulous time. This is a lovely hotel with a great location. We would just recommend consider other hotels for great views. There are so many options in this area.

It was a great stay at the Omni. The Omni lobby was cozy and warm as soon as you walked in. There are doormen attentive to your needs to make sure whether you are arriving, departing or need the door opened for you. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

I did my research for hotels and the Omni brand is a good bet. We are here during a very cold January and a tub is a must. Theirs is a nice long one. The bathroom is otherwise dated. A few touches could update it. The housekeeping is very lacking. We always leave a nice tip for housekeeping but our housekeeper barely does her/his job. That has been a disappointment for a hotel of this class. There are a few maintenance issues like, our curtains have been derailed. We have a premium king and really enjoy the size of our room. Too bad it is too cold to enjoy the balcony. I would have loved a down duvet but the blanket is some flimsy thing. Pillows are good. You have to request slippers and a kettle. If you book through Omni, you will get drink coupons. I have enjoyed the hotel but there are a few details that miss the mark of an upscale experience.

This was my families second time visiting this hotel. I couldn't have been happier with both the location, the hospitality, the customer service we received from the OMNI. The rooms are spacious, the morning coffee service is both timely and a nice touch while traveling away from home. I would give this location 10+ if I could as everyone from the hotel operator to the front desk to the concierge was wonderful. Thank you for making this trip to NYC a very special time for my family. Thank you!!
