Wonderful evening meal

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We had a very pleasant evening here, listening to the jazz pianist. The waiting staff were friendly and the food was delicious. There was also a nice selection of drinks and desserts. We had the burger and sea bass, followed by ice cream. All fantastic.

42nd wedding anniversary

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My husband and I stayed at The Roxy Hotel NYC to celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, and when they learned it was our anniversary, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne waiting in our room. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and charming, featuring a record player stocked with albums from the '80s and '90s. My husband and I had so much fun reminiscing while enjoying the champagne. We also dined at The Django, the hotel’s jazz bar, and were blown away by the excellent service, outstanding music, and cozy ambiance. Overall, our stay was exceptional, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Best Staff and Well-Located

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

It was a perfect experience for us to stay at the Roxy Hotel NY. The hotel is excellent but the staff is the best. Especially Zillah was always kind and super helpful. Thanks her and to all the staff. The hotel is well located and easy access to the metro.

Terrible avoid!!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We have lived in New York for 20 years. We came back to stay at this hotel and I have to say it’s the worst experience of my lifetime. We were treated like common criminals, they messed up our double reservation, and then they refused to let our children up to the room. Whoever was at the desk on Friday 29th of November 2024 with a brute (male with earrings if mgt is looking) - a bully, shameful , sexist (‘ I need his ID not hers)

Want to stay in a closet? Really awful property!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

Truly horrific. The smallest hotel room I have ever been in. My wife and I could hardly move in the room. I have travelled millions of miles and spent hundreds of nights in hotel rooms. Then they charged us $700 per night. Highest listed price online was $410. A Marriott?! An embarrassment. Don’t stay here

The Tribeca Grand Hotel was a totally new experience for us, and yet the standard of quality was consistent with that to which we have become accustomed. The true differentiator of this hotel is the outstanding staff, particularly their attitudes. Time and again someone on staff, from the Bellman to the Concierge Desk, had a ready answer or suggestion that met our needs. The trip included some sightseeing, fine dining, and catching up with old friends - what a wonderful time.
