I decided to extend my trip by one more day when with the assistance of ticketing agreed to extend my trip at no additional charge. I arrived at the hotel at 6:00 a.m. Reception reception indicated that I would need to make another reservation. I could either extend the room I had booked at allot 3 times the price or I could go to another hotel. I booked a room at another hotel for my last night in New York., But it was not what I really wanted to do. When I came back from dinner, I stopped at the reception desk again. I indicated to Clara, who was working the desk at that time that I really didn't want to leave this hotel. Was there anything we could do? Clara went above and beyond by not only finding me a room, but she also obtained a significant discount on the rate. She absolutely worked magic for me and she did it with such grace and proficiency. The hotel has attracted fantastic individuals such as Clara who is exceptional, and understands what customer service really means

Beautiful room. Check in with Clara was an excellent easy experience. She really values her guests. Will always stay at this hotel while in NYC.

The details were all missing. The decor in the corner tower suite was dated. There were water ring stains on tables and large stain on the table cloth. Our room wasn’t ready until 630pm. None of requests were accommodated (and they weren’t hard -chilled champagne and coffee for the next morning). There were no cups or bowls or utensils in the suite. The car service isn’t available on Sundays and is first come first serve with one driver available for all of the towers. This means the car is very unlikely to be available during your stay. We stayed two nights and even though we had the option to stay a third, we moved over to the Chatwal. Both are Amex “fine hotels” but there is no comparison. The Chatwal service was warm, friendly, and helpful from the moment we walked in. The dine in chicken bites were perfect for our child traveler and the wine list was so far superior to the Towers it was laughable. Save yourself the headache and just stay at the Chatwal to begin with.

This is our fourth stay at the Lotte New York Palace and we absolutely love it. We won’t stay anywhere else in NYC. Rebekah at the front desk is wonderful. I was here with my youngest son a few months ago for the US Open and she arranged an incredible upgrade to a huge suite and greeted us so warmly throughout the entire stay. The Concierge desk, including Ani and Isabella, have been so accommodating and helpful. And the doormen have been so delightful to see at every arrival and departure during our stay. Together your team has made us feel like extended family. The Hair Family is so grateful for all of you.
