A sleek retreat from the urban metropolis of the world's most recognized city, Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC offers swanky downtown chic with a hint of uptown luxury. The soaring ultramodern façade, lavish amenities, and tony vibe of Manhattan's premier hotel transforms the boisterous Meatpacking District into the most sought after hot spot in the Big Apple. Inspired by the hip, cool feel of the 1960's and 70's, a bold, bright color palate of fuchsia, magenta, plum, and champagne creates a classically mod ambiance throughout the property. Lavish details like a heated rooftop pool with underwater sound-system and resplendent 5,000 square foot spa with exclusive hair studio provides contemporary comforts and a chance to be pampered like never before.

The most incredible stay and experience to celebrate my 40th birthday. Made very special by the hotel senior management for me and my guests. We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Rooms were spacious and packed with cool amenities - especially generous size for NYC. The hotel has so much personality, featuring individual character aplenty throughout. From the bedroom to the restaurants, to the lobby, to the rooftop and beyond. The gym was also very cool. There’s even a Lulu lemon workout mirror and yoga mat in the room I’d highly recommend staying here and choosing a suite!! You won’t find a better space and location in the city. Thanks again

This hotel had very limited amenities. I was disappointed for the price I paid I had to pay for the waters that were in my room. I would expect a much higher level of service from the check in process the to rooms for the price you paid. The location is average. There are many other hotels in better locations with better amenities. Staff was not that friendly overall . I would not recommend nor will I stay here again

If you want to explore Chelsea and SoHo, this is a perfect location. Hotel is good, but with some first little signs of getting a bit worn out. It needs some first refreshing … especially with this NYC price tag. People are nice and friendly. Views are nice if you get a room to the West.

Great location and fantastic service from all the staff. Special shoutout to Gabriel at front desk. Will definitely be back as very convenient to west village and Chelsea. Rooftop bar at night was fantastic and breakfast area in the morning was nice and cozy.

This was our first trip to NYC. The hotel has a 5 star rating and indeed the entrance looked grand & trendy, lovely staff, super rooftop lively bar and pool, but when it came to the rooms I couldn’t see much of a 5 star feel.. Hotel positives: Comfy large bed Decent view & mini bar Cool rooftop bar Rooftop pool Gym Lululemon workout mirror Great location Lovely bathrobes Negatives: Bedding had holes in the pillow cases No complementary tea nor coffee in the rooms Wonky toilet seats Rusty bath tub Plastic cotton buds Room was a bit basic and small out of everything , for me the lack of tea/coffee was a real let down, a real must have.. for the money we spent we did expect the hotel to pay a little more attention to detail. Overall a pleasant stay in a nice location.
