Get a rich taste of the Big Apple at the AAA Five-Diamond Award-winning Mandarin Oriental, New York. Its premier address, at the crossroads of Columbus Circle and 60th, marks the epitome of New York style. Behind the modern design of steel and glass is a quiet high-rise retreat where luxury knows no bounds. The guest rooms and suites fuse together contemporary elements with the traditions of the Far East. The views are unparalleled - with Central Park, the Manhattan skyline or the Hudson River gleaming with each sunrise and sunset. In keeping with Mandarin Oriental's high standard of culinary excellence, the hotel presents Asiate restaurant, located on the 35th floor and boasting an exemplary menu with a 1,300-bottle collection of wine. Lobby Lounge is more casual and ideal for small bites, while MObar takes Manhattan by storm with its 1930s vibe and sleek island bar.

Spread the word that MONYC is the in place to experience the best NYC has to offer starting with a hotel experience unlike any other in the city. MO is changing the standard for personalized service, accommodations and luxury in a hotel group. Whether it be Milan or Barcelona (having just experienced both this year), you won't find a place that makes you feel as special as you deserve. My only Holiday wish for the MONYC - is that they find a chef, kitchen and restaurant worthy of the hotel.

This is our company's third year hosting the Annual Benefit at the Mandarin, and the service has improved significantly each year. I want to give a special shout-out to Miles Gomez and Garrett Hiller. These two gentlemen were exceptionally professional, courteous, and accommodating. They uphold the high standards of excellence that this hotel franchise is known for. Thank you for another successful year!

I had the stay of a lifetime, I feel like I write this every time I stay at a Mandarin property. This occasion was no different. The people and relationships with staff are the difference here- I've left other reviews of the MO NYC, but again the room was divine, beautiful views, really good breakfast. I just need to recognize Natsuko- I believe to date I've never encountered such a person in all my years of hotel travel to places all of the world. I had a couple small issues when I checked in- and she personally saw to it that everything was fixed, improved, perfected, and made me feel like family. Natsuko gave me her cell number! Reached out to me before her last bus of the day, to make sure things were perfect. I'm sure she must be quite a person to know outside of the hospitality industry- she just exudes such warmth, grace, kindness- that you inherit a family member when you stay at this hotel. 5 stars all around, best of the best. Thank you MO, NYC.

I stayed in the Mandarin Oriental in New York with my partner in November. We stayed in one of the suites, which was really specious and beautifully decorated with spectacular views of New York, in each room we had a different view, my favourite was the view from the bedroom where we could see Central Park. In addition, I also found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful and go out of their way to be attentive and helpful to guests as well as having great knowledge and suggestions of New York and for places to visit. Lastly, the hotel’s location is also great and local to a lot of great attractions. I would recommend this hotel for a variety of reasons and I would come back here.

I am beyond disappointed with the Mandarin Oriental Lounge for ruining my birthday two years in a row. Both years, I booked well in advance and specifically requested a table next to the window to make my birthday dinner special. When we arrived, the hostess at the entrance—the one responsible for seating—flat-out refused to accommodate my request, even after I explained the importance of this occasion. Yesterday, as we sat at a different table, I decided to politely ask the waiter if we could move to a window table, emphasizing that it was my birthday. While they acknowledged it, they informed us there was nothing they could do. Moments later, a manager stepped in and assured us that they would move another reservation to grant us the requested table. However, the same hostess rushed to seat the other party at the table that was promised to us, leaving my parents—visiting New York for the first time—and me feeling completely dismissed and disrespected. The lack of customer care and outright rudeness is shocking for a place that prides itself on luxury and prestige. What made it worse was that this was not the first time—it happened last year as well. To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. My parents sat there in disbelief at how mean and unprofessional the staff were. This experience has left a lasting negative impression on what should have been a joyful occasion. I’ve never felt more let down or humiliated on my birthday. Mandarin Oriental, you’ve failed me twice, and I will never recommend or return to your establishment again.
