The reason for my 3 star review is because the quality of food for our Christmas Party on Saturday December 14th. It was a solid "C". Nothing wowed me or my guests. The accommodations were very nice, rooms were what I expect at a resort of this caliber......fantastic ! Service from the time we drove up until we checked out the following morning was spectacular. The decorations in the lobby and the piano player off the lobby Saturday evening were a beautiful touch. The only other frustration was the service in the Bar Pendry, it was a Saturday night, the bar was full, but it should not take 20+ minutes to order a cocktail.

The staff were friendly and the valet was quick and exceptional. The event we attended was beautifully organized and the hotel made it a wonderful experience. we definitely recommend staying at Pendry because everything was smooth and excellent.

Pendry perfection: Modern vibes, delicious food and ideal location

I stayed at the Pendry with three friends in November and we’ll definitely be back! The hotel has a sleek, modern vibe with spacious rooms and multiple restaurants to explore. On Friday, we dined at the more casual spot and Saturday we dined at their exclusive Mediterranean restaurant. (Pro tip: it’s technically only open for lunch, but after a late-night visit to the bar on Friday, we scored a special invite). The service was top-notch, room service in particular was really fast! Don’t sleep on the omelet with bacon on the side and an English muffin for breakfast, it’s the perfect way to start your day. The location was also a win, close to downtown and prime golf courses like Pelican Hill. We’re already planning our return trip.

This hotel is the most magical place on earth! A must stay if you are in Newport Beach. The staff are a 10/10! The restaurant, bar, pool and hotel are fantastic. The free morning coffee till 11am on the bar cart in the hotel Lounge was a great touch. The caviar at SET restaurant had just the right amount of salt, fixings and the bunny statue made the dish seem opulent. Coming from someone who has traveled the globe this hotel is a must go… book your stay now and enjoy the life of luxury.
