We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at L’Alya Ninh Van Bay, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the breathtaking scenery to the exceptional service, every moment felt magical. Here’s a breakdown of our stay: Place & Ambience From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had stepped into a dream-like paradise. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery, dramatic cliffs, and the most stunning, crystal-clear waters. Walking around the property was an experience in itself—peaceful, surreal, and breathtaking. The blend of nature and luxury makes this resort an ideal escape from the everyday world. Villa We stayed in a Hilltop Villa, and the views were nothing short of spectacular. The villa is designed to seamlessly integrate with nature while still offering ultimate comfort and luxury. The outdoor chilling area was fantastic—we spent hours unwinding and soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Every detail of the villa enhanced the experience, from the spacious interiors to the beautifully designed open spaces that connected us to nature, delicious local fruits and high tea snacks. Our private pool nestled in nature was another highlight allowing us to have a peaceful swim in total privacy in the lap of nature. Food & Drinks The food was another highlight of our trip. The sparkling buffet breakfast was a delightful way to start the day. Their food menu had a wide variety of options and generous portions. The beach bar was the perfect spot to eat, drink, and play a few games, all while enjoying the breathtaking view of the bay. Dinner at the restaurant was very charming—with overall dim lighting, a lively breeze and a flickering candle at your table. The combination of great flavors, fresh ingredients, and stunning views made every meal a memorable experience. Service One of the standout aspects of our stay was the incredible service. Every staff member we encountered was kind, polite, and always willing to help. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel so welcome. The housekeeping team ensured that our villa was spotless, and the restaurant and bar staff provided impeccable service. Every single staff member we crossed greeted us with such warmth that it felt like home! The Spa The spa was really good. It exuded tranquility, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. We booked a hot stone massage, and they were absolutely fantastic—expertly done and incredibly relaxing. It was the perfect way to unwind and immerse ourselves in the peaceful surroundings of the resort. Butler Service A special mention to our butler, Diep, who was simply the sweetest! We opted for low touch service and thats exactly what we got. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect, that too without constantly asking us what needs to be done. Since this is a luxury eco-resort, we did come across a few lizards and a couple of very large geckos inside our villa, which was scary for those not used to such huge sized geckos, But Diep came to my rescue every single time. She immediately arranged for them to be removed and even ensured that the housekeeping staff checked the room thoroughly during cleaning. Her patience, kindness, and attentiveness made such a difference, and I cannot thank her enough! Everything about L’Alya Ninh Van Bay—from the breathtaking scenery to the world-class service and delicious food—made our anniversary incredibly special. If you’re looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and nature-filled retreat, this is the place to be!

The remote location lets you feel you are on a remote island with the views and beaches of the Maldives. But it's only a 15-minute boat ride away from the city. We stayed in a lagoon villa with a small but 4.5 foot deep pool that we spent hours lounging around. Since there are only 32 rooms, you will feel alone and without any disturbing noises. The restaurant buffet for breakfast was superb, especially rhei coffee selection and hot dish bar. Our butler, Vu, was superb. He anticipated our needs and wasaroubd anytime we needed something. We enjoyed 2 beach dinners with Champagne. This resort was a highlight of our 3 weeks in Viet Nam. Thank you Vu, you are the best.

Did not expect to have L’alya to now be one of my top fave destinations! A definite recommendation for a relaxing, quiet getaway! Top notch local hospitality, great comfort, wonderful staff, and a peaceful, rejuvenating sanctuary overall. Came here in early March 2025. Right from the get-go at CRX (Nha Trang) airport, I was well taken care of, with Hoang from guests services sending me a WhatsApp message right after I landed, directing on how to look out for him for the pick up. We had a great conversation during the road trip to the hotel mainland lounge in a mini bus. The road trip itself was around 1 to 1.5hr. You get a pit stop at the pretty lounge with some local snacks and beverage. You then get whisked off to the comfortable boat ride. Your luggage will be all handled really smoothly. After a 20minute boat ride in the idyllic Nha Phu bay, a group of staff including your butler will be there to greet you at the pier right away, and you’re off to your villa in a buggy. My butler was Vũ. It was a joy to be taken care of by him. He’s super friendly and jovial. We exchanged numbers for WhatsApp messaging and it was smooth sailing organizing activities and routines with him. His amiable demeanor is also seen across the staff. The staff are all friendly, well-meaning and always ready to help. And I really see that they bond well with each other, and I’m happy that the resort hires many from the local Nha Trang area, who are proud and happy about where they come from. I booked the Hill rock villa. Spacious, hidden well in the foliage, with a pocket view of the bay and horizon. Would recommend this for couples or solo. It’s quiet and the most lovely thing is to hear the birds chirping all day around you from the bedroom balcony. A great way to start your mornings. The pool was nice to dip in and well maintained, as per the whole villa. Restaurant was great for me. I took half-board, which was enough. (They serve you some mid-day tea-time snacks. And daily fruits came with my package. Definitely didn’t need full-board). Breakfast had enough options, coffee was good. Dinner was amazing for me with plentiful options. Beach is lovely. Very calm, apart from pretty gusty winds due to some u expected wet weather. Water was clean and clear, sand was not too prickly/rocky. The resort has its whole bay to itself which makes for a nice 15-20min walk. Beach bar had good selection of beverages to choose from. Deck chairs well maintained and comfortable. And because the resort only has 30+ rooms and it wasn’t exactly peak season, there were times where I could have the whole beach to myself! Activity-wise, I enjoyed the hiking, though it can get quite strenuous at some parts. You do need some stamina and working pair of knees. Great views on top. Took a snorkel and fishing boat tour as well. The waters were pretty choppy due to unexpected winds and wet weather. For such conditions, you do need to be a pretty good swimmer. Corals were not much though. And visibility was not so great during my stay. But overall experience was great due to the friendly tour guide, Cong, who is also in charge overall of guest experiences. He took care of me well, and we had great conversation. We did a bit of fishing but I didn’t had any luck! The spa was good! Spa Rooms were nice and spacious, and my masseuse, Van, did a great job for both my treatments. Some quirks to be mindful of for your stay: * The hill rock villa is all wood, and exposed to the outdoors. So do be prepared for some creaking and critters. The 3 separate floors do sometimes make things less accessible across your villa but it was not much a bother. If you have trouble with steps and staircases, definitely won’t recommend. You should go for the beach or lagoon villas instead, which look great too. While the hill rock villa feels and looks hidden, you can still hear a bit of your neighbour and staff working nearby here and there. While these were not intrusive at all, don’t expect perfect silence in nature * It was super easy to get around with the resort’s bicycles! I really enjoyed it. But if you are unable to cycle on two-wheelers, you might have to either walk across quite a bit or request a buggy. But walking in this serene place is a joy anyway, and anything that you request is always available thanks to their great standard of guest services * While the restaurant had a great and tasty selection for dinner, I did feel that their presentation for breakfast could be improved. While breakfast options are fairly good, the overall presentation at times looked sparse and unattended, but this is just a minor nitpick. * Due to the customizable nature of your stay, ensure that you communicate clearly and double check on your requests to avoid any miscomms/misunderstandings, which happened to me a couple of times, but they were minor troubles. Overall, staff are superb and well-meaning and you’ll be well taken care of. Definitely coming back here again! So glad I made it here :) thank you staff and management of L’alya!

We had an incredible stay in one of the villas. The place is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and offers an idyllic setting for relaxation. A huge thank you to Vu, who made sure we lacked nothing throughout our stay. His attention to detail and availability made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!
