Pillar and Post

Our stay at the Pillar & Post was amazing. From the jacuzzi & Indoor pool to the Hot Springs and the delicious dinner at The Cannery, we enjoyed our entire experience. Our room was spacious and I loved the fireplace and comfortable furniture where we could relax, drink wine and read a book. Overall, a wonderful stay. We will definitely return again..

Comfortable beds, calming atmosphere and the most most comfortable plush robes hung in the closet upon arrival. A heated outdoor pool and a beautiful indoor pool with an attached hot tub and a tropical place to lounge with palm trees all around the room. Everyone was very kind and respectful. The food in the dining hall was exceptional. Well cooked and seasoned steak and potatoes and a crab cake to die for. Breakfast was buffet style with a large variety of flavours including fresh fruit, pastries, waffles, french toast and chef made omelettes. A few blocks away from the downtown core and across the street from a beautiful garden.

My husband and I spent our anniversary here. It was a great night away. We booked a couples massage at the spa. The turndown service was absolutely an amazing touch and the driver that takes you around town. The pools were amazing and relaxing.

EXTRAORDINARY. We do not live too far, so we visit regularly and sometimes turn our stay into an overnight stay, especially when there's something special to celebrate. We wouldn't think of staying elsewhere. When we're celebrating something, the people at Pillar and Post are part of the celebration with how they treat us and how they surprise us. This is what we just wrote in a private survey to the beautiful Pillar and Post: "Every single staff member we encounter is exceptional - not just this time, but EVERY time. The wait staff in the restaurants, the housekeeping staff, spa staff, ALL the staff treat us with smiles, respect, care - couldn't ask for a better place. We recommend CONSTANTLY, and we tell people it's not just because of your amenities or because of how beautiful you are. It's because you make us feel like family. You celebrate moments with us with little surprises. Those extras are what keeps us coming back. To Mandi at the desk, and so many others at Pillar and Post: you made an already amazing stay OUTSTANDING. For the little, caring, personal extras, we don't know how to thank you. You showed that the staff of Pillar and Post just don't think of guests as a means to keep a job, but as valued PEOPLE who are CARED ABOUT. The staff and the care and treatment and surprises and little notes and extras are the reasons we keep coming back again and again. You feel like HOME, and that's what we want to keep returning to."

My husband and I had a fabulous 2 nights at pillar and post. We stayed over the family day long weekend and truly had the most relaxing weekend. Everything was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa and our dinner in the cannery restaurant. All the staff were super friendly too. The snowy weather made it extra beautiful, like a winter wonderland. We already can’t wait to go back.
