Stately Georgian-style elegance, gracious service and a spectacular waterfront setting make Queen(TM)s Landing Inn & Conference Resort an idyllic retreat from the cares of everyday life. This member of Vintage Inns resides in the historic village of Niagara-on-the-Lake, less than two hours outside Toronto in Ontario, Canada. From individually decorated bedrooms to Les Clefs d(TM)Or concierge to original cuisine emphasizing organic produce at Tiara, each detail reflects a regard for the refinement of an earlier era.

We spent two nights at Queen’s Landing in Niagara-on-the-Lake over the Easter long weekend and had a lovely, relaxing stay. Having stayed at most of the properties in the Vintage Hotels portfolio, we found Queen’s Landing offered a very similar experience to the Prince of Wales — elegant, well-run, and full of charm — but in a much quieter location overlooking the harbour. We booked an excellent “April Foolin’” promotional rate, which made the stay even better value. At the time of booking, we also added on breakfast each morning and one dinner at Tiara, which was a smart cost-saving move. Our Deluxe Harbour View room was bright, very clean, and comfortable — though on the smaller side. While technically a lake view, our particular view was partially blocked by the side of the hotel and the rooftop air conditioning units above the restaurant, which was a bit disappointing. One thing to note: none of the rooms have balconies, so you can't really enjoy the lake view from outdoors. The bathroom was quite small, with just one sink and a tub/shower combination with a curtain. The towels were very good quality, but the robes provided are a non-absorbent polar fleece (we prefer 100% cotton), and the toiletries were a mid-range line. The hotel itself has a lot of character, but the Victorian decor in the lobby and especially the hallways is starting to feel a little tired and could use a refresh. That said, the amenities are solid — we used the well-equipped gym and appreciated the complimentary yoga class at Pillar and Post (a great perk). The indoor pool area is attractive, but it was often filled with families; having a few adults-only swim hours would be a nice touch for couples looking to relax. Breakfast was good, especially when ordering off the menu — we’d recommend skipping the buffet, which felt like more of an afterthought. Dinner at Tiara was excellent: warm, attentive service, beautifully prepared dishes, and well-crafted cocktails. On Friday night, we had dinner at the Bacchus Lounge and took advantage of their weekly pasta special — it was great and perfect for a more casual night in. Both nights we were annoyed that turndown service came quite early, while we were getting ready for dinner. It felt intentional—so that the housekeeper could just hand off a rose and some bottled water at the door instead of coming in to replace towels, draw the curtains, and turn down the bed. The front desk has a record of guests’ on-site dinner reservations, so this definitely could be coordinated better. Overall, Queen’s Landing is a wonderful option for a quiet, romantic getaway with great food, charming service, and a peaceful location. Just don’t expect unobstructed lake views or a balcony to enjoy them from.

We recently hosted a meeting for a client at Queen’s Landing and were impressed by the exceptional service we received on-site. From start to finish, the team was proactive, professional, and a genuine pleasure to work with. Their support made our jobs significantly easier, and we’re truly grateful for the experience. Brekfast needs a bit variety but they were happy to adjust on site when advised. A bit out of action of the area but closer to the beauty of the lake. Highly recommend for corporate events under 100 people.

We had an offsite meeting recently at Queen's Landing, and it was amazing from beginning to end. The building itself is well kept and clean, with many boardrooms of varying sizes to accommodate any size company's requirement. It's a wonderful space for concentrated, productive work outside the standard office setting. It was truly the individuals who made the experience unforgettable. Each person that we interacted with was polite, friendly, and heard it out—it goes that extra mile to make things just right. We would also like to mention that Peggy Cernick, Kelly Baranik, and Paul Kurek—were simply exceptional! They and their hospitality were of such great assistance and gratitude during our visit. Extremely recommend for any business looking for a professional and welcoming offsite facility!

I had a corporate group stay at Queen's Landing in early April of 2025. We were a smaller group of 40 International attendees and had a wonderful experience. I worked with Kelly Baranik who is an absolute perfectionist and gem to work with. Being a planner myself, she understood the importance of being meticulous and it showed onsite. We were met by Paul, Myles, Cory and Phil in banquets and they made sure that every detail planned was executed perfectly. They were kind and professional to our attendees and very flexible with last minute changes. It was great to be met with such nice people especially when you start your days so early in the morning. Although planning was already done, Kelly also made sure to check in on us as often as she could. Check in for our guests was very smooth as they were appropriately staffed - Tristian, Ha and Raj were also amazing! The guest rooms were comfortable and of appropriate size. Decor was fitting and calming to the location of the hotel. If we were to look at NOTL for an offsite location in the future, we will definitely be back! Thank you to the Queen's Landing team for such an amazing experience!

We were fortunate to visit Queens Landing once again and really appreciated the “Welcome Back” note and bottle of wine waiting for us in our room. It started our getaway off in a perfect way! All the staff were also welcoming and we felt right at home as we always do when we visit.
