The former residence of the Swedish Royal Family, Chateau Eza is an enchanting 14th century hotel set in the thousand-year-old French medieval village of Eze. Perched 1,300 feet above the Mediterranean Sea, this exquisite ten-room member of Lifestyle Hotels & Resorts opened its doors again in April 2004 following an extensive renovation by the Stein Group, which has added up-to-the-moment amenities without sacrificing the hotel's medieval charms. Most rooms feature stone fireplaces and private balconies with breathtaking views of the Cote d'Azur, while the Gastronomic Restaurant boasts some of the most panoramic dining in the region.

Visited in April, the location of the Chateau is perfect for a quaint escape in a medieval town. The views are stunning, the people are great, and the rooms are even better.

Chateau Eza will meet and then exceed your expectations! The staff, the service, the food and accommodations are all designed to make your visit as stress-free as possible. As long as you can climb the entrance to the Chateau, you will not be disappointed in what awaits you. Also, the Panoramic Room offers you spectacular views whilst soaking in the hot tub on your terrace.

A great hotel. The location, service, atmosphere, quality is at the top. I have stayed there twice in the last year, and the experience was equal. The restaurant was amazing!

We spent two nights at Chateau Eza with friends. We had a suite and they had a regular room. Both were very nice and clean. The staff was excellent and professional. Our view was fantastic. The bar and the restaurant was outstanding. The only downside is you need to be very mobile, which we are, to navigate the property. It is a very long walk up steep and uneven steps to get to the hotel. I think it is great for a couple of nights like we stayed, but not for a longer visit as restaurants are minimal unless you walk all the way down the steep hill and back up, and there is not a lot to do. However, you will be blown away by its views and uniqueness.
