What a great find. We were supposed to be at a AIRBNB but due to construction we were offered a refund - what a fortunate event. We had a fantastic view of the beaches ad Mediterranean. the bed was comfortable, and it had all the amenities that one demands from a top hotel. Also, great bar and restaurant.

Modern Comfort in the Heart of the City

Le Méridien Barcelona is a refined blend of contemporary style and prime location. The hotel’s modern décor is both sleek and welcoming, offering guests a comfortable yet sophisticated atmosphere from the moment they arrive. One of the most remarkable features is its stunning waterfront views, which provide a perfect backdrop whether you're starting your day or winding down in the evening. Conveniently situated along La Rambla, the hotel places you within walking distance of the city’s cultural and historic attractions. And for those who appreciate a familiar bite to eat, you’ll find a McDonald’s quite literally next door—a fun and unexpected convenience for travelers seeking a quick meal in the midst of their adventures. Le Méridien is an ideal choice for guests looking for stylish accommodations, excellent views, and a location that puts all of Barcelona at your doorstep.

Great location, needs work

Great view if pay for right room Staff terrific. Significant need for improved maintenance. Bathroom sink drain plugged. When rotorooted out room smelled of sewage for a few hours., Went to take shower and the whole hardware holding up the shower head came off the wall. Balcony door was had to get fully shut. 2/4 elevators out of service most days, except day 3/4 elevators were out of service. One of the lamps did not work when we checked in. Bedside “table” was a dysfunctional tree stump too low and too small to be of much use. No desk in room (and we had Deluxe ocean view room). Poorly fitting loose bathroom door handles. Bed very comfortable but pillows only fair. Shower once fixed was great, large shower stall and rain shower removable handle. Room needs some additional lighting. Location super! Taxi’s readily available in front. Staff friendly and helpful, terrific!

Great staff and service.

Nilu, cleaned our rooms and ensured we had everything we needed. The hotel was a great location to walk anywhere or catch an Uber. Garage parking on site with a 7-day pass was easily and recommended. The rooftop bar and restaurant had a great view. Clean rooms, but the hallways should be updated.

Disappointing Stay — Not Worth the Hassle

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Disappointing Stay — Not Worth the Hassle We stayed here expecting a relaxing experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but. There was a large convention of young adults during our visit, and the noise at night made it impossible to sleep. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, the staff and security did absolutely nothing to address it. The restaurant options were very limited, and basic amenities felt like an afterthought. Our TV didn’t work on the first day, so we were moved to another room — not exactly convenient. On the second day, housekeeping didn’t leave fresh towels, and getting substitute sugar like saccharine or Splenda felt like pulling teeth. Overall, the lack of service and poor attention to guest comfort made this stay incredibly frustrating. We won’t be returning.
