What other palace best symbolises the legend of the French Riviera? More than 100 years after its creation, as the perfect image of the legendary Riviera, Le Negresco reveals our desire for enjoyment, relaxation and comfort. Staying at Le Negresco is like jumping into a joyous mixture of eras and styles. Contemporary artists, masterpieces, monumental sculptures… Le Negresco owes its well-respected identity to its important collection of artwork and period furniture with over 6,000 references. From salons dedicated to Louis XVI or Napoleon III to Venetian or “Street Art” rooms, you will move from surprise to surprise discovering a unique selection of French artwork from the 17th century to today.

I have wanted to stay here for sometime having read about Madame and her vision for the hotel. It was almost perfect! The location is great for the old town, and to the train station to go to Cannes etc. We were greeted well by the staff at the door and, Charles after a difficult journey and were delighted with both our room with a view and I particularly loved the carpet on the hall floor. No time to watch tv- too busy exploring on our short break in the sun. The bar we found very relaxing and the staff amiable. Sometimes smart hotel staff have strange attitudes I find, but not here- people seemed to enjoy their work which is a credit to the management. Breakfast was the least smooth part of our visit- it would have been helpful on day one to explain the options, and one day the service was slow. However, as a good hotel we received an apology and a special refreshing drink so we were delighted. Mistakes happen after all. The concierge service was excellent, and Javier was a very helpful departure host. We hope to return at another quieter time in the Spring and perhaps try the spa. Worth the wait

Beautiful hotel, but like They say, the outside is not always what's inside! Typical Côte d'Azur French nonchalant service. In the bar location, they were quite disrespectful and marginal Rude, This kind of service is fit for a budget motel. I will never return to this establishment.

Le Negresco is one of the finest hotels in Nice, and probably the best located. Situated right on the Promenade des Anglais, Negresco has its own beach club and Michelin-starred restaurant. It also doubles as an art museum, boasting dozens (hundreds?) of pieces from the founder's private collection. The original elevator is a nice touch, and we greatly enjoyed the swanky yet low-key bar with massive fireplace and original masterpiece painting of Louis XIV. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the dinner we enjoyed in La Rotonde. We were fortunate to get upgraded to a sea-view junior suite for two of our three nights, which was stunning. The first time we visited Nice we didn't stay at Le Negresco. This time we did, and will be sure to do so again on our next trip.
