Trump International Beach Resort

No beach sun! The towers are so tall and the beach is shade by 2:30. The staff claims it comes back out but maybe for another 10 minutes and then it’s behind another tower. Huge huge bummer. The beds are 10/10 comfortable, but staff wasn’t overly helpful when they misplaces our baggage but housekeeping did circle back to check in a few times.

So clean, elegant and comfortable! By far, most outstanding, from the checkin process with Tony to the valet services with Brian, Joao and others. I didn’t get our room attendant for our stay; but she took such care in making us comfortable and keeping our room stocked with. First time ever that I have not needed to request service! Hotel was immaculate and views were absolutely breathtaking!

The location is great. Beach is beautiful and access is very convenient. The pool is also excellent. Outdoor dining has a view of the beach. Food at the hotel is above average and prices are about what you’d expect. Overall it was a good value for what we got. The rooms showed signs of wear. Light fixture was damaged, paint worn, moisture damage to bathroom wood, and the shower made an intense vibration when the water was set at a certain point. My biggest complaint about this place is the elevators. You wouldn’t expect something so basic to be so important but I guess it’s something overlooked and taken for granted. The elevators were painfully slow. If you are on the 10th floor or below and are in decent shape, you can manage with the stairs. In any other instance, you need to allocate at least 15-20 mins to waiting for the elevator. Between 10-11am it is impossible due to checkouts. In the afternoon it’s the same for checkin. If it rains, everyone will go inside at once and you will wait forever. Summary: It’s a great place that excels in all the right places, but is lacking in some areas that detract from the overall experience. I would certainly stay here again.

Don't expect a coffee maker in the room or the staff to supply one. All the kids amenities were closed. The hotel is old and extremely costly for an American family. 95 percent of the guests were non American, which is fine, but there is a feeling of being out of the states. Location is OK, but walking to shopping is limited. Totally had to listen to construction at the pool while trying to relax. Have fun there, but I wont be back. I hope one of the Trumps get a handle on this mess. I know Don is too busy right now.

Bed was comfortable and room was nice. Valet was a little pricey. Had the ocean view room. The sushi bar at the beach bar was delicious. Staff is helpful and the beach was well maintained. We only stayed 2 nights but we would definitely go back.
