We have been visiting this resort since 2012 and had a great time once again. The food was even better than last time. The most exceptional part of our trip was the true hussle Jesus at the beach and pool showed when setting us up for the day and checking in on us throughout.

A fantastic experience! Pool concierges Jesus and Daniel provided a wonderful experience to enjoy the sun and weather. Concierges Yesi and Ana ensured our dining and entertainment was first rate! Chief Butler Jamie and Butler Roger rounded off the entire team! I want to thank the entire staff from exiting the transportation and being met by the bellmen, to housekeeping and the reception staff. Villa Estancia is a place I highly recommend for those looking for an experience of relaxation and service.

The pool area guest service team was great. But Daniel and Jesus were simply exceptional! On day one they quickly assessed our desires, needs, and preferences for setting up. We arrived early each morning and wanted our lounge chairs ocean facing. They were either arranged for us before we got there or nearly instantly including the nuances of how we liked our umbrellas and tables. They knew when we wanted our umbrellas rearranged for afternoon sun and were there without asking to make it happen. Their enthusiasm for what they do was always obvious in their actions, smiles, words, professional service. Wonderful personalities. We left our time at the resort feeling treated as long time friends. They are the Best!

Here are the pros and cons of Estancia and the neighboring Flamingo hotel. We did not do the all inclusive. We booked through Costco Travel. We did not sit through a timeshare presentation. - Breakfast is much better at Flamingo. Food is served hot and has a way better selection. If you eat early at Estancia, the hot food in the chafers is not hot. Limited selection. Barely lukewarm. -The gym is much better at Estancia. Nice equipment. -The lobby is much nicer at Estancia-very elegant. -If you want a less hectic hotel-choose Estancia -LOccitane tolietries at Estancia -Felix the housekeeper is so friendly! -Spa services are nice -Hotel grounds are very clean -Estancia has the best slippers I've ever worn in a hotel -Estancia's restaurant for dinner is very nice -El Patron at Flamingo is nice - Raphael is a great waiter. Daniel too! -Estancia's front desk staff-Rosy is so nice. There was another person at the front and I can't remember her name-maybe starts with an X? We had an issue with our first room (2104A) that had no front gate like the other rooms and had frosted window that wasn't totally frosted so people can see inside, especially if the lights are on. We tried to move and had constant pushback. Jair made it happen for us to move. Omar is very nice and helpful. The staff at Estancia is wonderful! -Going to see Buscemi wasn't a great adventure. It is a long walk to get there along the beach and the resorts near there do not allow you to cut over to get to the street. There are security guards that will stop you. Take a taxi to town if you want to see it but don't walk there. Best to get your groceries there. Buying things in the hotel market is very very expensive. It is nice that taxis have a set fee depending on the area you want to go. There's no nickel and diming there. -Since we set foot in Mexico, everyone is always trying to sell you something or extra items at the hotel have a fee where normally at hotels, there are no fees like for an extra laundry pod. Everywhere you go someone is always wanting to sell you something. Even on the beach. If you have credits, be sure that the hotel has the same dollar credits in their system. If not, you're out of luck when you check out. -One good highlight. There is wildlife around the hotel. Manta rays swimming along the shore, Olive Ridley turtles hatching in the sand and racing to the ocean, lizards everywhere. -I enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it.

We have just spent 3 lovely weeks at the Villa La Estancia. This was our 4th visit. The suites are spacious with a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to do your own cooking. We opted for the all-inclusive. La Casona is open for breakfast and dinner. La Pariela is open from 11am to 6 pm. There is also the option of going to the sister hotel La Flamingo and eating there. They have 4 really good restaurants there. There was always lots of room on the beach and around the pool with no hassle for chairs. Jose set up our chairs every morning for us. Special mention has to go to the morning crew! Lorena, Esmerelda, Fabian, Carolina, and Daniela. They were always very welcoming. In the evening Eduardo and Angel were great waiters. Carlos, the assistant manager, arranged a special meal for us which was very much appreciated. Santana and Marco were great for beach drinks and food always with a smile! Alma, in reception, was always ready to answer questions as was Julian. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Villa La Estancia in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico was incredibly beautiful. The suite and facilities were elegant and impeccably maintained. The staff was always professional and helpful; there were no sales pitches, ever. The restaurants on the meal plan were very good, and we did not feel the need to leave the resort for meals. This was certainly the most relaxing and overall best vacation we've taken in years. I would go back again in a heartbeat!
