Nestled in the bohemian enclave of Ojai is the historic Ojai Valley Inn, a luxurious retreat that has been one of California’s most revered destinations since opening in 1923. Located just 90 minutes north of Los Angeles, the resort overlooks the unspoiled natural beauty of its mountain surroundings and celebrates the relaxed glamour of California’s past to create an unparalleled resort experience that is quintessentially Ojai. The resort recently turned the page to a new chapter with the unveiling of enhancements that further elevate the resort experience while remaining true to its authentic spirit and include: chic outdoor oasis, Indigo Pool; new signature restaurant Olivella; the thoughtfully refreshed, historic Wallace Neff Heritage Bar, and Libbey’s, a fresh artisan market, café and boutique.

One of the most beautiful resorts I've ever stayed at. Every aspect of my stay was exceptional. From the friendly smile of the staff, to the Barista's ensuring to make my favorite Australian coffee. Highly recommend Ojai Valley Inn and especially recommend treating yourself to a spa experience.

We have traveled all around the world, stayed at some incredible places and Ojai Valley Inn is now on the list as one of the best of the best. The setting, the facilities, the food, activities, Spa.. all 5 star. If you are looking for a getaway, where you simply don't need to leave the resort; golf, tennis, spa, food, pools.... this is the place for you. Downtown Ojai, also nice, with easy access to hiking or horseback.

I’ve stayed at the Ojai Valley Inn many times. I'm absolutely astounded by the terrible service I just received from the Ojai Valley Inn. They wanted a total of approximately $1k for tonight. Normally, we pay whatever the rate is, but l explained that I came to Ojai with my dog today because we couldn't breathe due to the terrible air quality from the fires in LA, and asked that they be waive the $300 (for one night) pet fee; I was told the reservationist was transferring me to the front desk to "see what they can do", instead, they transferred me to voicemail. I tried calling back SEVERAL times, all my calls went to vm. I had my husband call on a different line and they picked up right away. I can't believe they would treat a many times repeated customer in such a manner. Disgusting! No sympathy, hospitality or appreciation. Keep in mind this call was in between 8-9pm. They had several rooms available for booking online, so the chance of them selling out was not high.

Ojai Valley Inn feels like the best kept secret in Souther California. It's a beautiful property with a plethora of amenities and part of me doesn't want to tell too many people about it for fear that it'll get overrun. The golf is superb and the spa is an adventure of peace and relaxation. We really loved sipping wine and cocktails by the fire pits at night. When the sky was clear, you could see the cosmos.

We have stayed at the Inn at least 30 times over the past 15 years. It stopped being our go-to staycation destination as we felt the rooms and service struggled a bit. However, we stayed for our annviersary in December with our dog and the experience could not have been nicer. They have done a new renovation on the rooms, making them much more comfortable and stylish. They had plenty of service and the servers were lovely, being especially accommodating to our dog. My only complaint is that they do not appear to track guests who stay regularly, so every time we go, I am asked if this is our first time visiting. Especially considering how often we have stayed, I would hope they would have a better system to keep track of this. A minor issue.
