Could Have Been Better

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 10 hours ago

Bellmen, housekeeping, the bed and Boheme were pleasant experiences. Beyond this, not so much. Room service breakfast for 2 at $75 was delivered with hair in the potatoes. When shared with the front desk, the gentleman offered no apology and proceeded to ask if I wanted more potatoes. Last, this is one of the noisiest hotels. There were nightly sound checks, street music and most annoying were morning thumps that sound like furniture moves or maintenance. Sadly, the manager confirmed it was the gym. If this is a known issue, why are guests subjected to it? Avoid 6th floor rooms.

Very disappointing

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We booked a stay at this property and unfortunately the morning of our baby tested positive for Flu A. Having to take care of the baby and not spread the flu to other guests, we regrettably needed to move our stay to the following weekend. We have been long standing Marriott Bonvoy loyalists and reached out to Marriott directly. They advised the property was not willing to waive the late cancellation fee however we should call the hotel directly as they should be willing to make that exception. I reached out moments later and spoke to the hotel manager. He was not only very short but not accommodating at all. He refused to make any exceptions despite the uncontrollable circumstances and said the “he was sorry she was sick but how would he explain the waived cancellation fee to his revenue department.” The compete lack of empathy and customer service Is not what we’ve grown to expect from Marriott and to say we were completely disappointed is an understatement. Moving forward we will not support a property that does not value its customers or make any effort to provide the level of customer service we’ve come to expect from the brand. Very disappointing.

Poor customer service from hotel manager

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Hotel manager is rude and condescending Reserved hotel for concert assuming the concert would not be cancelled. Concert ended up cancelled and hotel manager was not empathetic to the situation. Refused to refund me, and spoke to me in a condescending manner. By far the worst customer service I’ve experienced with a Marriott establishment to date.

Callous and aloof property management during an unfortunate power outage

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Aloof hotel management and property owner. Power outage & luke warm shower in the dark, but according to the hotel - they did not cause the power outage - so there would be no remuneration. No apology, no courtesy Bonvoy points, just a clear message of "Not the property's fault & not the property's problem"
