Reviews for Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

Wonderful stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

Stayed at here in February 2025 for 4 nights. The room and property are well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. We received daily housekeeping without asking. The pool is heated and very clean. The hot tubs were a bit crowded with unattended kids, at times. The property is connected to the Waldorf Astoria via a beautiful walkway for a stroll. The pool there is also accessible with your Hilton stay. Close to Disney and other attractions. Would recommend and stay again.

Had last minute reservation change. It took only 4 minutes online chat! This is the most wonderful and efficient hotel customer service I have ever received. Thank you Emily and Amyrah! Amazing. This was within 24 hours of the reservation start!

Love this property so much, this is my second year in a row and I will continue to use Signia. The Signia is beautiful, the staff is amazing. So many options to choose from golfing, restaurants, and spas and more. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Cockroaches

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I'll start this review by stating that I know there are cockroaches in Florida and that in the cleanest of hotels it's impossible to keep out all bugs. HOWEVER, this review is to share with other travelers the snarky and cavalier approach to cockroaches from the front desk and customer service which has to mean this is a VERY common issue. We only stayed at this hotel for one night and it looked great. Early in the morning when I walked into the bathroom I found a german cockroach scurrying around on the floor. I trapped it in a towel and killed it. As we left for the airport later in the morning, I stopped by the front desk to let them know for the maintenance staff that there was a cockroach in a towel in the bathroom. The first warning sign was the front desk attendant's response was "Oh, how many were there?". I responded that I saw one, but where there is one there are usually more and I was only there for one night. She then responded, "Oh, well I'll write it down but I don't think they're going to do anything about it if there's just one." At this point I was shocked how the conversation was going so I asked if management could contact me about it and she said she'd write it down for them to do so. I flew home and after about four days no one contacted me so I reached out to the hotel customer service through Expedia. In that thread I got the same dismissive comments that I did from the front desk, including telling me that "Here in Florida, we have all sorts of interesting creatures that wander in from the nature preserve we border along." That's wonderful they border a nature preserve and again I understand there are cockroaches in Florida, but I was on a high floor and the windows do not open. So, I highly doubt this one cockroach wandered in and made it all the way up to my room by himself. What is much more likely is there are nests in the hotel and they spread and made there way up to my high floor. Which has been the point since the beginning, I just wanted someone at the hotel to say "Sorry you almost stepped on a cockroach in your expensive hotel room, we'll get the exterminator up there to make sure the situation is dealt with." I requested to online customer service that management reach out to me, but they still have not. So, I am now writing this review and will post in a few different places. TLDR - Please factor into your hotel choice that management, the front desk, and online customer service consider it par for the course for you to find a cockroach in your hotel room. If you find multiple during your stay then they will presumably start to care, though my guess is if they can't contact a guest back who asked multiple times to speak then they have much bigger issues than cockroaches going on in this hotel.

Meh, nothing special but cheaper than the Waldorf Astoria next door.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 weeks ago

I guess Hilton tried to change to Signia but I think it took a step down from what the old Hilton brand used to be. This resort has nothing special to offer except for the lazy river for the kids. The food was not the best and the pool area needs more lighting at night. Probably will stay at the Waldorf next door instead of this average place.
