The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka

Wow! We loved our stay at the Ritz-Osaka. From our greeting with Simon (Loyalty Manager) and escorting us through check-in, the staff made us feel welcome. He was there whenever we needed to consider going to to see sites or to just enjoy the hotel. The accommodations were superb with the cozy beds, fantastic views of the city, a nice sitting/living area and the Japanese bath fixtures! We also enjoyed the Executive Club benefits that was always open when we wanted to sit and have a cup of coffee. The Club meals were excellently made - cooked to order eggs and choices between western and Japanese dishes made breakfast and appetizers fun. The location is idea for access to the JR, the underground tunnel for shopping and access to the department stores for items we forgot, and to explore Osaka. Umeda (Sky Building) is just minutes to the north, the Castle os minutes to the east and shopping/eating is a short taxi to the south.

The entire staff at the hotel was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. From the person greeting us at the entrance to Simon the hotel manager, everyone was incredible! The hotel is beautiful and everything is top notch, it’s incredibly worth it and I’d highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful property. Lovely smelling fresh flowers and warm welcoming lobby area. All staff were incredible. Simon greeted me and got my stay off to a fantastic start with helpful recommendations and friendly conversation. A delight. The room was super comfortable with great amenities. Location is excellent. All in all a LOVELY stay!!

The elegance of a grand hotel greets you the moment you step foot inside The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Osaka. From the dark stained wooden walls to the decorative moulding, this hotel defines luxury as it invites every guest as warm as its radiant fireplace. As I let my mind wonder of the hotel’s grandeur, I was pleasantly welcomed by Simon at the front desk to process my check in. The personalize service provided was as splendid as could be. Simon shared his passion for travel and recommended some scenic places to visit in Osaka. Simon was exactly what you would hope to meet after a long day of travel. I may sound redundant but the personalize service was simply phenomenal! Fortunately for us, Simon was on duty again as we checked out so the experience of staying in this grand hotel and heading back home made it somehow bitter sweet. Thank you, Simon!

This property is seriously impressive. Buildings are not built like this anymore. The attention to detail, and exceptional service staff make you feel right at home. Special mention to the Manager Simon for making us feel so welcome and going the extra mile.
