Fun for us in a quick visit to Osaka
We hadn’t stayed at a W before and decided to stay here on a lark. The decor is quite silly, gimmicky, hip wannabe — there’s a plaque in the lobby saying the Osaka W is the “most instagrammable” hotel in Asia — and in the evenings the music in the lobby is loud techno pop-ish. Clientele definitely younger than us (late 60s!), couples and many young families. The bones of the place are clearly Marriott. Squeaky clean, very nice gym and pool facilities, high quality food, and an obliging and very helpful staff. The location near Dotonburi is excellent for tourists; not sure how well it would work for business travelers. Some reviewers seemed to have some issues with service — our experience was that the staff were quick and quite helpful when needed. The concierge found us a great last minute dinner reservation at a small Michelin star rated sushi place; all questions to anyone on the staff were answered with a smile and requests speedily met; rooms were cleaned very well with turn down service every night. Not really our style of place but it was fun for a couple nights!

Memorable stay
Unforgettable stay at W Osaka. Hotel design was great that you feel definitely is place of playful. Staff were nice with sincere smile. Staff from check in counter were effective and efficient. Special thanks for Bensum’s team that created a memorable experience for my family specifically for my kids. W Osaka definitely is a family friendly hotel. Highly recommendation and we will come back in the future. .

Good place to stay for experiencing Osaka
Great location! Unique design and decor. Our 15 month old son loved the vibe and music. Great view of Midosuji from our room. Staff were very helpful. Was able to get a room upgrade as Marriott Platinum elite. Only problem is that bikers make noise with motorcycle at night but we already reported to hotel staff. Michelle helped us get our belongings from hotel storage and got taxi for us making the departure process easy.

All around incredible
W Ōsaka is well worth it. We were given a 20% off coupon to use at connecting restaurant, Mydo, for an excellent 9 course meal. Michelle and other staff remembered our names/room number and hometowns days after we checked in. Stayed in a high deluxe room with incredible art, fully automated rooms, and great view of the city. If I am ever in Osaka again this is where I will stay.
