Absolute gem in the heart of Oslo, along the waterfront. Luxurious boutique hotel with modern Scandinavian design offering exceptional service. The rooms have plush furnishings and high tech amenities. Breakfast was superb. Stunning harbor views as well as a rooftop bar offering a panoramic view of the Oslo Fjords. Next to Aker Brygge, a popular area with a ton of shops and restaurant and a beautiful boardwalk.

Great experience in this hotel, located in a nice place in Oslo. It's a pity the bidet was missing in the room. This should be a must in terms of personal care. Breakfast was amazing and employees very professional. I recommend this hotel to enjoy your stay in Oslo.

After seeing an online article from my hometown news station in Chicago, I decided to book a room at The Thief for my partner and I. After a day of travel from Chicago, the moment we stepped into The Thief, we were immediately greeted warmly and respectfully. The room was perfect and the area where the hotel is located was absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We only stayed one night, but it was what we needed after a long day. Before heading out the next day, we had breakfast which was one of the best that we had our entire trip in Norway. If we ever find ourselves back in Oslo, I would not hesitate to book at The Thief again. Takk!

You want to have an egg , sunny side up for breakfast? Forget it at this Hotel. My experience: Although the cook stood directly in front of me, he asks me to take one egg he already made 5 min ago....Long spoon for a Latte Macchiato? Not available, I was given a soup spoon instead. Fresh little bred pieces at the buffet? No chance! Only big breads where you can cut slices - this is not the high level that I expected due to the price I payed. Bar was closed, due to renovation, but no info about it on the website. I had a business meeting and was really looking forward to enjoying a nice Maitai, but instead I ordered a glass of champagne that was not that cold as it used to be. Your F&B Manager should do his or her homework.
