ARC The Hotel

Stayed a few times over the years, always loved the rates, the convenience, the boutique atmosphere and personal feel, but mostly the kind and courteous staff. This is not your impersonal corporate behemoth. When my mom died Jan 5th 2025 they were there for me. Then when my dad died ten days later they were there for me again. I got to my room and there was a card signed by all the staff with their condolences. I now know all their names. It is not perfect but nothing is, not even my parents were 🙏❤️🥲.

The location is very central. We arrived quite late, and the hotel’s parking was full, but the night receptionist was very helpful and friendly, showing me where to find public parking nearby. The room was fairly standard, but the A/C was loud, and unfortunately, the bed was terrible. Normally, I can sleep easily, but this time the mattress was uneven, worn out, and extremely uncomfortable, making it a really bad sleeping experience.

Don't know where to start! From the time we walked into the lovely lobby, we knew it was going to be a great stay. The front desk staff were friendly, knowledgeable and just nice. Our room was relaxing and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Internet access was excellent. Loved our location, we were able to walk to the Parliament Buildings, Rideau Center and other coffee shops and restaurants all close by. We also enjoyed breakfast at the Arc which was excellent, great service and very reasonable. We will be back to stay at the Arc it is a great hotel with amazing staff, excellent rooms! Thank you!

service is amazing, that’s why a 3. Rooms are very old, for a 4-star hotel the rooms did not live up to the expectations. It doesn’t come furnished with a microwave, no toiletries provided until you ask. The room phone was not working. The shelves in the room were full of scratches. Overall, it was not aesthetically pleasing.

Hotel seemed in between cheap and classy. Rooms are not quality rooms. Clean however tacky. Room service was ok, food just ok not good for the price. Tip for room service was included however, it was not communicated and accepted another tip with the percent on the hand held. I personally was not happy with the experience.
