Great spot. Try to get into the old traditional building if you can. Lovely big rooms overlooking the ocean. Good restaurant, but not brilliant, and quite slow when busy. Helpful and friendly service, though could be better informed at times

Hotel claims to be a 4 Star Hotel. Like other reviewers, I found the on-line pictures deceiving. The room and bathroom were dingy. The furniture was badly nicked and the upholstery old. When we got to the room, there was only a sheet on the bed. In the closet was a comforter with no cover. You could see the IKEA tag! The pillows were hard as rocks. No coffee maker in the room. The hallways were dark and dingy. The walls were dirty and dinged. The breakfast buffet was merely passable. I would not stay here again.

Very outdated hotel. We stayed 2 nights and it's definitely not how it appears from the pictures! All needs completely renovating. I don't mind a firm mattress but it was like sleeping on the floor, I was aching all over the next day, not to mention the awful pillows! Also the bathroom looks like a child's painted it was dark and dingy! I actually didn't want to get in the shower! Breakfast was terrible, croissant was stale and my green tea was like dish water, tasted nothing like it, so i couldn't bring myself to eat anything else! I thought at first we were the only ones in the hotel the first night it was that empty! The second night there were a few more people there. It's not a 4* hotel, 2 at best. The only good point I can make is the gentleman on reception was very helpful when we arrived in pointing out directions on a map to the centre to walk to and was very pleasant so whoever he was, he was lovely! apart from that in relation to the hotel itself I wouldnt stay here again and wouldn't recommend others to stay!

Stayed as part of tour . Gave us room that had not been made up. No apology rather response was ”are you sure”. Promised better room to make up. Then took key away before saw it. Gave key to another room instead which was smaller than first. A/c didn’t work requiring move to even smaller room. Surly couldn’t care less attitude though out.

The location is close walking distance to the old city, but not itself a very scenic location. The hotel seems aged and outdated. Front desk service was nice and attentive. The room was quite large, the air conditioning was tepid at best. Curtains were worn, windows aged. Of the seven hotels we stayed at so far on this trip to Italy this was by far the worst shower, very tiny, with no place to hole soap, shampoo, razor etc. the doors were out of alignment and didn’t close (see pictures). Breakfast was good, maybe fourth out of the seven hotels. Definitely not a four star hotel, more likely a two star. Would not return.
