Villa Igiea, a Rocco Forte Hotel

From arrival to departure it has been a fulfilling experience, the place is magic and the atmosphere unique. Beds are very comfortable as the layout of the room where you have everything you need. At breakfast the team did all they can to fulfil my dietary requirements. Reception, concierge and guest relations really TOP. Many thanks for all the courtesies extended.

Villa Igiea is the best hotel in Palermo since always. It is actually one of those special places that become a sort of destination in the destination. We had already been to Palermo twelve years ago. Villa Igiea was closed at that time but the restaurant was open and we came for dinner; it was February and we were alone in the bar, where the dinner was served. The maître d’ showed us the beautiful Basile rooms after dinner. We thought we would go back. Since this year we saw they were open in winter (when only I can take holidays) we thought we had to go back. Wow! The hotel is really magnificent and Rocco Forte added many modern and sophisticated touches that make it really unique. Everything is well maintained, the gardens are incredible, the views are simply wow. Staff are incredibly professional but also very friendly in a polite and genuine way; they were also very accommodating with our five years old child! It is not in the center but their shuttle works fine. Really a holiday to remember!

Such a lovely stay in a beautiful environment with high quality service from friendly staff. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever eaten and their restaurant during evening is very good. The valve bar/lounge and its snacks was certainly more than a snack, it was a lunch. Their drinks were amazing and the bedroom was so nicely cleans and taken care of. The sheets cozy and you could relax completely.

Villa Igiea is one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip to Sicily. The room was gorgeous with a spectacular sea view, the services were definitely 5 star. Excellent and plentiful breakfast with a wide choice of typical Sicilian products on the buffet, a fairly complete menu and excellent service. However, we were quite disappointed with the dinner at the Florio restaurant on 24/12, in this occasion the service was not good, the restaurant was quite full but in a hotel like this you always expect the best, which did not happen in our case . We had to wait a long time to take our order, we poured water and wine during the dinner and the table was not fully served and some of our guests had to wait.

A wonderfull hotel at an absolutly fabiolous location! The crew, the food, the crew…. simply everthing is perfect and lovely here. A special thank you for the upgrade and the wonderfull care of the extra-nice Concierge! If you go to Palermo don‘t miss it! 🙏❤️
