Eau NO!!!!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

Eau NO! I have never in all my years of traveling, been treated so abusively by a Hotel Manager whom I never even met, nor even introduced himself to me during my 10 day stay at this hotel. And yet, despite most all the employees knowing me my name, others sharing their personal phone numbers and us developing friendly bonds, this hotel manager, Tim Nardi, when I reached out to him in need on my last day, verbally assaulted me in a manner that left me in tears and I do not cry easily, but his verbal assault was unprecedented…I have never been met with such a lack of professionalism and anger. All because his front desk person wrongly told us that our two reservations, one for 7-15th and one for one night the 15-16th would indeed be combined into one reservation for our convenience and we would not have to move rooms. Regardless, this front desk clerk 100 percent told us this my husband was also there and witnessed this. However, she made a mistake and was wrong, so while visiting my mother outside the hotel, my son got a front desk call asking him to check out in a rude manner. He was scared and called me and I called the front desk and they demanded I get back to the hotel and move rooms…I came back sadly as this was the last visit cut short with my mom before we left, and was met with a very rude assistant manager who basically said we were lying about not having to switch rooms?? Her name is Ilania Pina….So my plan was to spend an exorbitant amount of money at this hotel for all of those days and camp out, arms crossed and not move rooms the last day here?? Why would anyone do that?? If I was told I had to move rooms, I would’ve handled it at the beginning of my trip and made it as seamless as possible. Instead, I was threatened, abused, called a liar notably, and screamed at by the hotel manager?! And now I have to take this further because I will never allow a man to speak to a me like that, especially one who used his power to try and silence me while threatening to kick me out of the hotel if I said one more word?? I find it to be an act of serious concern and I take that very seriously, and I highly doubt he would speak to a man in my position as he spoke to me and threaten and defame me and insult my character when I have been nothing but wonderful at this hotel and many, many staff agree. In fact my bellman who moved my rooms witnessed how awful Iliana Pina was to me and he said he himself was going to tell the Hotel manager because he said that left him feeling uncomfortable watching how she treated me at the front desk! I told Tim Nardi that and he didn’t care! He was screaming at me so abusively and then hung up on me! Shame on the Eau. This verbal assault left me crying and many staff members comforting me and upset that Tim would abuse me like that. All the front desk had to do was apologize for their mistake but they dug their heels in and in the process hurt me physically and mentally. I couldn’t sleep as Tim threatened to kick us out of the hotel if he heard I spoke one word he didn’t like. Again, trying to silence me with his power, calling me a liar in the process, engaging in severely damaging behavior that is absolutely archaic in this climate and uncalled for. He was frightening and this will be handled accordingly. No women or person should have to endure such abuse at a 5 star or ANY star hotel. It was like staying overnight in the house of an abusive person it felt awful. Absolutely awful. Then the security woman told me to call her and get a copy of the video at check in and Tim told the operators and anyone who answered the call to hang up on me and not give me the video! Craziness!!! I never write bad reviews, but this was the most unbelievable experience I have ever ever ever had at a hotel!

In a league of their own! Exceptional!

Last week I returned from a 16-day stay at Eau Palm Beach with my 80-year-old mother and my small dog. When I made the reservation I was very specific that we needed a ADA room with 2 beds. My mother is losing her sight and has issues with her balance. After flying from Boston we arrived at PBI and hopped in a cab. On our way to the resort, I noticed a message had come in from someone at the resort saying they canceled our reservation because they didn’t have an ADA room with 2 beds available. I was 10 minutes from the resort with 2 big suitcases and with a mom who recently recovered from heart surgery. I was panic-stricken! Minutes later we pulled into the hotel and received the nicest most welcoming greeting from the valets it took my mind off the fact that someone canceled our reservation. I walked in and went right to the front desk and was told the same thing. The room I reserved didn’t exist. So I was offered a non-ADA room which was not feasible. I was told there was nothing they could do so I asked to speak with the manager. One of the managers came out her name was Alania. I explained what happened and she seemed shocked. She was extremely apologetic and could not have been nicer. She said she wanted us to have a stress-free vacation and assured me that she would make this right. Maybe 2-3 hours later Alania said she moved some things around and put us in an ADA suite with two beds. She saved our vacation. I was so impressed with the way she handled this I cannot begin to tell you. We are so grateful that she was there to help us. This resort is gorgeous and clean, the view is breathtaking, the service is stellar, and they are super pet-friendly! The service truly sets them apart. Everyone is so nice and they want to help you. From the people delivering room service to the staff at Breeze such as Zenia who is so warm and welcoming, to Luke who offered to get anything we needed even when he wasn’t our waiter. Colby who drives the house car could not have been nicer or more helpful, He was especially kind and helpful to my mother who struggles with her vision and her balance. Colby is great! The greeting we received when we arrived at the property was the same warm greeting we received whether we were leaving the property or coming back. If you are looking for a luxury pet-friendly resort, it doesn’t get better than this. Your dog isn’t just allowed in your room. As long as your dog is on-leash you can bring your dog to most places on the property. In your room will be a dog bed, water bowl, and a doggy menu. They also have doggy strollers, cabanas, and homemade treats. Most places charge a fee if you bring your pet, this resort donates to a local rescue anytime someone brings their pet. Whether you have a pet or not, Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa is truly exceptional! We cannot wait to go back

Finally Live guitar music at the pool!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Having spent many vacations at the Eau I was happily surprised to have Live music at the pool. Arturo played a beautiful variety of relaxing Guitar music. Of which I thoroughly enjoyed. Hope I have the opportunity to repeat a perfect weekend escape in the near future. BTW Best hotel coffee ever!

Amazing, luxurious family stay for all ages

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

I literally can't say enough good things about this hotel. The rooms were beautiful and spacious with nice little touches, like a tote bag and chocolates and a balm to help you sleep. The staff was excellent, kind and patient with me and all my family members (23 of us in total!). The beach was beautiful and the cabana service was awesome. There were TVs and refrigerators with juices and waters in the cabanas. An extra fee but well worth it since we were such a large group. Dinners were all amazingly delicious and, again, the staff was wonderful with all of us. Kid's club was a hit for the youngest (3) and the oldest (12) children in the group. They wanted to go all day every day. And there were some fun family events each day for all of us. Gym was clean and large with great equipment. I had the best pedicure ever at the salon. All in all a wonderful time and I would go back in a heartbeat!
