Dirty, outdated, charged my card additional fees after we left even though we were assured that we could switch courses due to one course being recently aerated. $588 in "replay" fee just charged to my card even though I already paid for 4 rounds of golf. 4 phone calls and I can't get them to resolve the issue

I absolutely loved this resort! Staff were friendly and the ambience was wonderful. Easy access to beach. Would definitely recommend for families and friends. It was very relaxing and family oriented. The sushi place is great and the restaurant (sorry can’t remember the name) although a bit pricey, was delicious.

Hammock is a lovely place with a nice location. Seems so safe and relaxing. Enjoyed the restaurants on the property and the pools. So pretty. The teens enjoyed being able to wander around safely, the game room and gelato. We will go back soon I hope!

This was the worst condo I have ever stayed in and it ruined our last vacation prior to my son school starting. Our "3 bdrm luxury condo" was anything but luxurious. We stayed in room 542 which was a complete dump. It had a musty odor upon entry. It looked like a room decorated in the 80s and hadn't been touched since. We booked the most expensive room which was an ocean view in oceans towers. I contacted the hotel prior to booking to make sure we were booking the best room for luxury and ocean views and also requested two queen bedrooms instead of twin and they said it was noted. Received a room with twin beds. The view was the adjacent homes, next door condos, and south tower pool. You could barely see the ocean from the balcony and living room. Unfortunately, neither were available for us to use. The furniture in the living room was old and so dirty we refused to sit on it. The balcony was huge but only contained a cheap table/chairs and no lounge chairs. We inquired with the staff about this and again the answer was it's the owners choice to include it. We asked if they had any available that we could borrow or rent, the answer no. This room was not satisfactory to us and we immediately called downstairs knowing there had to be a mixup. We were informed that this room was indeed a luxury 3 bdrm and they didn't have any better rooms available. I then asked if we could be moved to a unit in the main hotel or north tower, again nothing available. At this point my in-laws leave, refusing to stay in this dump. We are stuck due this being the last vacation for our son before returning to school and hurricane Debby is approaching bringing storms later that day and we are not willing to risk travel during the storm. I have a laundry list of issues with this room, along with pictures and videos. I did report the condition to the manager Franco who seemed very apologetic but only offered a slap in the face discount. Also, we did not receive a refund for my in-laws not staying. I don't understand how this resort received a 4 star rating with the room conditions. Upon asking why did we pay for premium and receive this quality of a room, the response "they have no control over the room status, it's up to the owners". If this is true, why are they over the booking instead of the owner's listing on airbnb or vrbo. In fact they need to be investigated for ripping people off as I now see numerous complaints similar to ours going back years. I could stay at a 2 star hotel with better options for a fourth of what we paid here. More room details below: I believe they put us in a room going through renovations and didn't clean or inspect it prior to us arriving. No kitchen towels or pot holders, no baking dishes Plates, cups, utensils all dirty. I tried to clean them in the dishwasher but it was dirty in the bottom. I had to buy paper items for us to use. Additionally, top rack in the dishwasher was broken. Room phone was not working The carpet was extremely stained, had water damage, and dirty throughout the unit. Walls also stained, ugly old blue paint Ceilings had water stains throughout the unit. Sofa/loveseat/chair in living room old and dirty / stained, not able to sit on them. Dining table chair cushions are very stained, not able to use. No lounge chairs / cheap table on balcony Dirty rusty shower heads Mold and mildew in the queen room bathroom. Also, dirty shower curtain Bathroom sinks and mirror rusted The nozzle is not the correct size for blow dryer. Imagine my surprise finding this out after washing my hair and it's soaking wet! Toilet in master bathroom broken No pictures on wall in master bathroom Dresser draw broken in queen bedroom Blinds broken in master bedroom, would not stay open

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at Hammock Beach. When we arrived, the hallways were very dirty and had food on the floors during our stay. Our balcony door was wide open when we checked into the room. We also had an unexpected emergency and had to leave early and the front desk was not helpful whatsoever. They did not return calls and were rude, notifying us that we would not be getting any Refunds for leaving early. We also had to walk by rooms that had personal ring cameras set up and it would notify us that we were being recorded every time we walked by. This does not seem appropriate for a “resort”. Overall, we were very unhappy with our stay and will not be returning.
