I was only in a basic category room but still felt like I was getting a luxury experience. Breakfast was painstakingly slow even though there were very few guests at any one time. I also think the hotel needs to put up a sign at the host stand inviting guests into the restaurant at breakfast time as too many end up standing outside unnecessarily thinking that the host is away and they'll be tended too soon enough when in fact there isn't a host coming at the breakfast period. I was disappointed that there wasn't a spa to better foster my relaxing experience and would suggest offering massages at the minimum as something to consider. I thought the food overall was pretty decent at the in-house restaurant however bar staff in particular at both the restaurant and the separate bar area need to be conscious of the appropriateness of the content of their conversations that are within earshot of patrons.

Just stayed 3 days for graduation weekend and loved my stay - an oasis of calm in a busy weekend. Service was great - I loved the Toto toilet and amenities. Room was super comfortable and quiet with cool shades and settings to get the right lighting. Internet was fast. Only complaint was the sub par (and overheated) gym - minor but they could do better. Restaurant was great too. I'd throw in a few sparkling waters for free for the price as a suggestion - annoying to get charged at the minibar after paying over 800 a night.

Nobu restaurant has amazing food and great staff! Food-Are so unforgettable all the food just melts in your mouth can’t get enough of those yummy flavors! The restaurants overall are beautiful Inside. We can't wait to go back and be there next time to their Garden patio just to enjoy the weather, beautiful view, food & drink.

Very nicely appointed rooms, but you must be interested in minimalism and Zen. Massive television great for watching movies. Clean and good service. The bathroom seemed a bit small for the size of the room but was adequate. A great respite in Palo Alto.

Elegant decor, very clean rooms, fluffy towels, comfy beds, friendly staff and a very safe building. There’s also a Nespesso maker and a fantastic iron tea pot in every room! I’ve stayed at Nobu twice on business trips and will absolutely be back. Nobu is close to Stanford and there are a lot of wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are incredibly quiet. I’ve never heard another guest’s shower, hair dryer, TV, etc. The equipment in the fitness center is all very well maintained and kept clean and tidy. The staff have been very helpful and accommodating on both trips. In February my flight home was delayed and they let me stay in my room until noon. In April my flight arrived early and they were able to check me in midday.
