Reviews for Hotel Tres Reyes

Regular city hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Stayed here for two nights. Hotel did meet our expectations. Warm welcome and parking space nearby. The breakfast was nice with great coffee. The buffet had a lot of products and was refilled constantly.. Pamplona is a nice city to visit with a lot of gastro bars and restaurants. Avoid the restaurant, the service sucks and the food is under warehouse standard. Better visit in one of the nearby bars or restaurants. Conclusion, nice accommodation for a short stay.

Modern, Well-Positioned but soul-less

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

A large modern hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were huge (ours was classed as a junior suite) with a large sitting room as well as the bedroom. Unfortunately, the rooms were a bit soul-less and, curiously, the enormous television was located in the bedroom so that the sofa in the rather boring sitting room area simply faced a blank wall. On the plus side, breakfast was excellent, and the shower was the best I’ve seen for some time. But why was the bar closed at lunchtime?

Nice stay in well located hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 months ago

Nice hotel with good rooms. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom a bit dated that spotlessly clean. Central areas were nice and gym was limited and very hot Swimming pool was nice and a good size, although a little cold, and could have done with more sun loungers. Also, you needed your own towels. Parking in public car park opposite. We didn’t eat at the hotel but we did have drinks in the bar one night which were very nice and very reasonable.

Nice but the pool is inaccessible

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

Hotel is nice and clean breakfast is good BUT they hold functions so the outdoor area with the pool can be inaccessible. Not many hotels have pools so with a family in 39 degrees I can think of more appropriate hotels. You are not notified of this until after you have checked in and paid!

Top quality hotel in an ideal location.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 8 months ago

We found the hotel easily and secured a cracking parking spot by the front door, but as other reviewers have mentioned, there is good and apparently cheaper parking just across the road. The Tres Reyes is a rather plush hotel and our room (404) is beautifully decorated and furnished and very comfortable. We could have upgraded to a Club Room (and they are very nice) but thought that an extra 40 Euros a night a wee bit steep. As my wife said in true Yorkshire style “Eighty Euros! That’s the price of another night away.” She’s right I suppose. The hotel is ideally situated right on the edge of the main, old town area and as it’s all rather compact, the main things to do and see are just a 5 minute stroll away. Breakfast was excellent, with a large selection of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses etc., as well as a small hot food section from which I selected some tasty bacon and a small dish of scrambled eggs which were perfectly cooked and creamily soft. Everything about this hotel, from the facilities to the interaction with all staff, screams top class. Add perfect location and it will certainly be our hotel,of choice for future visits to Pamplona.
