Mountain Shadows Resort Scottsdale

I've organized an awful lot of events over the course of my career and I can honestly say that the Mountain Shadows Resort and their event team rank among the very best! The venue is gorgeous, but not stuffy. A very modern midcentury-influenced vibe with the stunning Camelback Mountain towering alongside. Our meeting room was perfect - attractive and felt intimate, even though we had more than enough space for our program. Missy and Emma on the event team thought about every detail and accommodated our unique requests. My offsite participants commented about the excellent food and how much they appreciated sitting outside in the sun for lunch. Next time, though I'm local, I might reserve a room so I can fully enjoy the whole, beautiful resort.

I recently stayed at Mountain Shadows for a girls weekend. I booked our room through the Capital One travel portal. I booked a standard 2 queen room and booking through the portal came with a $100 resort credit and daily breakfast for 2. Upon arrival we were very surprised when we received a complimentary upgrade to a 2 bedroom residence loft. It was incredible with a full kitchen, dining room table, living room and 1/2 bath downstairs and two full bedrooms each with a private bath upstairs. The resort was perfect for a girls weekend as it is definitely geared more to adults. The pool was great and the views were incredible. We had breakfast every morning at the restaurant and it was very good. Enjoyed drinks and food at the bar one night and had great service. Location was close to everything and easy to get Ubers quickly to get around. Would definitely stay her again on an adults trip.

Took the total body circuit class and a stretch class. Both of the instructors were great, had brunch on the patio afterward with spectacular views! All of the staff were wonderful and the resort/golf course are beautiful! We will definitely be back!

I Really appreciated the offered workout classes, it was a great way to start my Sunday morning. Beautiful views and delicious food out on the golf patio. All the staff was friendly and gave a real "home" experience. The resort is in such great condition!

Great property. Attending a company conference across the street at the JW Marriott, I was one of a small group assigned to Mountain Shadows. So happy I was! Beautiful property, such friendly and helpful people. Call outs to Marissa at the front desk for helping me on room changes, and special thanks to Brendan on the bell staff - one of the few guys in the world taller than me. He was friendly and helpful - clearly he enjoyed working there, always testament to good management. My wife was supposed to join me for the weekend, but she was sick and I had to cut my stay short. Would definitely visit again!!
