Grand Hotel du Palais Royal

Perfect in every way. We loved our room, which was much larger than expected. Our junior suite with balcony had a separate toilet/cloakroom and a bathroom with shower cubicle and bath - and facilities such as coffee maker, water, safe, luxury toiletries and AC. Thrilled with the handwritten note for our anniversary and champagne. The location was ideal for walking to many sites, restaurants, parks etc. Breakfast buffet had lots to choose from including fresh fruit and pastries. My husband enjoyed the omelettes. The icing on the cake were the warm and friendly staff, who made us feel safe and well looked after. They were all polite, attentive and approachable and made us feel part of the GH family. Special mentions to the outstanding Christopher and Lilian, who were so passionate about the concierge role and keen to accommodate. They both struck a perfect balanced of professionalism, charm and humour. They were kind enough to give us the time to not only ask our many questions but practise our French. Both are incredible and Lilian, you are a superstar! Also, our thanks to Assunta and Zoe, both so kind and considerate. We absolutely loved it here and were sorry to leave.

My wife, young son, and I enjoyed four nights at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal. The hotel team’s attention to detail and willingness to help create a memorable experience did not go unnoticed. Guest relations (Assunta), the concierge (Germain), and receptionist (Clara) created a beautiful birthday surprise for our family with balloons, flowers, and cake in our hotel suite. They recommended a famous Parisian cake, which they picked up and delivered to the hotel, while others strung banners in our suite. It was a magnificent birthday entrance! The hotel’s team was attentive to all needs – from champagne ice buckets and morning breakfast to hotel cleanliness, bath products, and service. All done with graciousness and a smile! We are touched by their hospitality and kindness. The Grand Hotel itself was perfect for our stay in Paris. It’s conveniently located to restaurants (Café Blanc especially for a late quick bite, which Germain recommended after our overnight flight from the U.S.), patisseries, the Metro, and historic sights. The view of Eiffel Tower from the balcony was a daily treat. We were sad to leave the Grand Hotel and return to reality. We highly recommend this Parisian hotel!

Really great hotel in a very central and convenient location within walking distance to Marais and Les Halles. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable for my birthday and I appreciate that. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful and the room had a beautiful view of much of Paris. I'm sure we will be back!

Grand Hotel du Palais Royal was an amazing stay for my husband and I during our first trip to Paris. We arrived early and expected to drop off our bags and wander, but they had our room ready and we were able to unpack and refresh after a long international flight. Location was very close to the Louvre and the metro. Breakfast was included with our stay and was always had a delicious buffet plus eggs cooked to order. We enjoyed their quiet bar after a full day of sightseeing to unwind. We would highly recommend!

The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room was perfect in every way, and we honestly wouldn’t change a thing. This is, without a doubt, the best hotel in Paris, and we can’t wait to return with our family again! Thank you thank you thank you! ❤️🙏🏼
