Hotel Lutetia is an iconic landmark situated in the vibrant Saint-Germain-des-Prés area of Paris and the only luxury Palace hotel on the city's Left Bank. Originally opened in 1910, the building's design was a daring move from Art Nouveau to the emerging style of Art Deco. The Lutetia delivers an authentic Parisian experience and has been at the heart of the local community for more than 100 years. The hotel now features an eclectic mix of restaurants, bars and lounges throughout the historical ground floor including the iconic Brasserie Lutetia and Bar Joséphine. Unique to the area, Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre is Lutetia's 700 sqm/7,500 sqft spa dedicated to wellbeing and fitness and featuring a 17m swimming pool bathed in natural daylight.

Lutetia is my favourite hotel in Paris and a perfect place to discover the city. I took my daughter there for the first time and she wS completely embraced with attention and care of guest relation Larissa who was in touch whenever we needed anything. The team prepared amazing welcome to us and I believe it was the perfect experience for me and my daughter. I would also like to mention Assedine, our favourite waiter at the restaurant who was always very thoughtful and attentive to both of us - truly Parisian service. If you want to have the right experience of Paris - Lutetia is the best place.

Lovely staff. Beautiful hotel. I had an amazing stay that made me feel at home in Paris. The city is crowded and there is so much to see, that it was nice to feel like I had a home base to relax in. The rooms are modern without losing any of the old world charm you would expect from a Parisian Palace. Definitely recommend.

My husband and I decided to use accumulated AmX points on a "grand hotel" in Paris and, as we had not stayed in the 6th, chose the Hôtel Lutetia. A brilliant choice. The hotel manages that lovely balance between the grand and the familiar, with impeccable service from an attentive staff who convey respect and warmth. Its location allows an experience of family Paris in the Luxembourg Gardens, of "intellectual" Paris in its famous cafés and universities and of luxury Paris with shopping (window, in our case) at all the grands marques including Hermes and the famous Bon Marché. The hotel is across from a park with a Metro station and stops for various bus lines. As we use public transport and walking for all our activities in Paris, this proximity was perfect. We visited the local churches, Saint-Germain-des-Prés with a brilliant painted interior and Saint-Sulpice with the Delacroix chapel, and the charming, if limited, Delacroix museum near by. The hotel secured Notre Dame tickets for us and, otherwise, we walked, we hung out in the Luxembourg, we visited with friends in the Marais and, as a sheer indulgence, we enjoyed a massage at the hotel spa. Most surprising aspect : the "pillow menu" and yes, I selected the l'oreiller en épeautre and discovered that I absolutely love spelt pillows, as we both did our stay at Hotel Lutetia. This is a hotel I can recommend without hesitation.

Where do we begin? We wanted to stay in the Left Bank and wow, what a perfect choice! The only 5-star hotel in that area & the personalized service started from the moment we stepped out of the car and were greeted by Victoria Clement. We stayed in a beautiful suite with balconies (3) and Eiffel Tower views and it was decorated for our anniversary, including our pillowcases being monogrammed with our initials. The service from beginning to end was impeccable. The concierge team (Emma, Matteo, Paul, Sonya, Annouk, & Cheyenne) were amazing, making (& changing) reservations for lunch, dinner & tours and proactively offered us “skip the line” tickets to the Dior Exhibit which was fantastic (highly recommend). Housekeeping and room service were also excellent. We ended each day relaxing in the beautiful and lively, Bar Josephine, with live music Thursday-Saturday evenings. Gorgeous & sophisticated yet cozy at the same time. The neighborhood (6th arrondissement), with West Village, NYC vibes, was easy to navigate. We couldn’t miss a stop at Cafe Flore (Les Deux Magots was under renovation so closed). We walked through the Sunday market just steps away from the hotel on our way to the beautiful Luxembourg gardens. The neighborhood was easy to navigate and to get to all the “major” sites and areas (Uber was quick and easy). We also suggest downloading city mappers app (over google maps). We highly recommend Hotel Lutetia and look forward to our next visit!

Lutecia has become our go to hotel for our visits to Paris for a number of years now. It's in heart of Left bank steps away from great shopping like Hermes, Le Bon Marche and plenty of local gems like Fromagerie Quatrehomme as well as being a stone throw away from historic iconic brasseries like Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore and of course the hotel's great bar bar and restaurant. Its mix of classic and modern architecture, one of a kind pool and effortless elegant ambiance simply make rhe choice for you once discovered. And our most recent stay was perhaps among our best which prompted me to write a review. We were approached by Victoria Clement, the hotel manager who recognized our history with the hotel. Her team's attentiveness little gestures were at the next level making our stay feel most personable and more special than ever before. At establishments like Lutecia it can be hard to impress most discerning clients who are used to being catered to at the 5 star level. Victoria's team managed do this so naturally and to anticipate and meet our needs well beyond our high expectations. Thisn was a 6 star experience of sorts that money can't buy and goes well beyond the amentities! We are so grateful!
