"To be grand in every sense of the word" — this is the spirit of Le Grand Hotel. Located in the heart of the capital, facing the Opéra Garnier and a stone's throw from Place Vendôme, Le Grand Hôtel could only have "Grand" department stores as neighbors: Les Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps. The history of Le Grand Hôtel is as grand as it is long sharing 157 years of Parisian life. Le Grand Hôtel has always lived at the rhythm of French history. Le Grand Hôtel has delighted citizens from all around the world, stimulated artists, and celebrated victories. The Grand Hotel is the meeting place for all those who think grand. The Grand Hotel looks afar. From our 458 rooms and 90 suites, you can see either the Paris Opera House, the Eiffel Tower or look out over the rooftops of Paris. To be grand is also to be close. It means offering tailor-made services to meet the deep needs of each individual. That is why Le Grand Hôtel offers a Club Lounge, a Marine Spa, a diplomatic wing and a wide range of the most beautiful salons in Paris. The Grand Hôtel de Paris does everything possible to create the finest culinary experience. It all starts with the choice of the Chefs who know just how to combine ambition and humility, because aiming for perfection in the kitchen is an everyday exercise. The Café de la Paix is a Parisian institution in itself, whose reputation is earned client by client. In recent months, Le Grand Hôtel has undertaken major and costly renovation work, in partnership with Pierre-Yves Rochon, to embellish and improve the comfort of our rooms and suites. Today, Le Grand Hôtel is certain to have the most beautiful suites in the capital and is happy to have kept its promise: "to be grand in every sense of the word"

This is a beautiful Parisian hotel, excellently located in the heart of the Opera area of Paris. From the moment we arrived, it felt special. The swift check-in process with the front desk staff was perfect. As we arrived prior to the check-in time, our room was not ready, so we were escorted to the wonderful Club Lounge, to relax with some welcome Champagne. Here, many an evening was spent in the relaxing surroundings, superbly looked after by the lounge team. Once all ready, we checked in to our stunning suite, Room 3126. The plush spacious suite, allowed sheer comfort for our 3 nights stay. The view was out towards the Opera area. The Suite has excellent TV choices, with Chromecast and on-demand viewing. Plentiful stocked minibar, coffee facilities. A large & very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom with the luxury Byredo products for your use. The bar area downstairs, had a great team, excellent cocktails which were always on point. With the added bonus of music, by the superb piano player, Emmanuel. The always buzzy, winter garden area of La Verrière, was so relaxing, and great for people watching - New York Plaza anyone!. The General manager, should be very proud of his team and this gorgeous old dame of a hotel. This is the hotel to stay in PARIS, and we can't wait to return... au revoir!

As an IHG Diamond Ambassador, I always expect something special, but the InterContinental Paris Le Grand is the true essence of Parisian elegance. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, literally a stone's throw from the Opera Garnier, and that's just the beginning of its splendor. The interiors are like something out of a historical novel: luxury in every detail. The service is impeccable, and the hotel team, from concierges to waiters, exceeded all expectations - special thanks for the warm welcome and attention to detail. The cuisine offers a gastronomic journey that is worth every star. Le Grand is not just a hotel, it is your personal palace in the heart of Paris!

Don't ever try and organise an event or party here, the staff are appallingly rude and incompetent, they terrorised the musicians we booked and if not for the professionalism of the band our party would have been ruined. It's a very picturesque interior on show to visitors but has a seedy underbelly of vile backstage areas that are probably unsanitary and they forced our hired musicians to wander around there rather than have sufficient time to get ready to entertain us. Disgraceful. Nobody should pay top dollar then expect this kind of rude behaviour.

Every aspect of this hotel is stunning. Pure luxury. The food an ambiance both amazing. The service for the 3 days I stayed was world class. We had dinner in the ball room which was breath taking. Location being perfect for central Paris. I would highly recommend
