Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet the standards I would expect from a five-star property paying almost 2000 euros per night. Several aspects of the stay were disappointing. The room had multiple issues, such as a broken towel holder in the bathroom that keep falling and only one phone charging point on one side of the bed, even though the room was booked for two people. This made it quite inconvenient. The Wi-Fi was quite slow as well, the ceilings in the room were low, and the furniture felt a bit old and outdated. Additionally, there was a persistent unpleasant smell in the room, reminiscent of musty clothes. Despite airing it out by opening the windows, the smell did not go away. The spa, which we were looking forward to using, was also underwhelming and appeared a bit outdated. To make matters worse, I had an unpleasant experience in the steam room: while lying down, part of my body got burned due to excessive heat. This should never happen. I frequently use steam rooms and have never experienced anything like this before. It seems the facility is not up to the standards of modern, safe steam rooms. We had a particularly unpleasant experience at the Le Pagode de Cos restaurant. During dinner, a family seated at the table next to us began fighting loudly, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. Several objects were broken near our table during the incident. Afterward, the staff started cleaning up behind us using hoovers and other noisy equipment, all while we were trying to finish our meal just a couple of meters away. What made the situation worse was the inconsistent treatment by the staff. While they offered apologies and even gifts to another nearby table, we - despite being just as close to the disruption - received no acknowledgment or attempt to address the inconvenience we experienced. This felt highly unprofessional and unfair, especially considering the premium price we paid for what was supposed to be a refined, luxurious dining experience.

This hotel, is by far, the best hotel in all of Paris. NOTHING about this hotel can be topped. The service is impeccable, the staff - the most professional I've ever come across and the rooms with their views are just breathtaking. Forget The Ritz, The Four Seasons, Hotel Crillon and any other hotel you are considering - it's time to book your stay at La Reserve!

It was a quick in and out one night visit to Paris. This hotel is beautiful, well situated in the city, the staff is friendly and helpful, the iconic furnishings are elegant and comfortable. The food was beautifully presented and tasted great. I will certainly book here again. It was an amazing last night in Paris.

La Reserve may just be the best hotel in the world. I am not being cavalier when I say that as we have stayed in many of the finest hotels throughout the US and Europe. My husband and I spent 8 days at the hotel to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We chose the hotel based on the location (perfection) and boutique feel. The hotel itself is beautiful, spotless and in my opinion the perfect size. The butler service is like having your own fairy godmother. For our anniversary our room was decorated with balloons, champagne and delicious desserts and each day another lovely or delicious surprise would appear in our room. The restaurants are divine, as was the spa. But what really sets this hotel apart is the service we received from each and every member of the staff. From check in to breakfast and dinner, to the bar, from the bellman to room service, to housekeeping and the car service drivers...every single employee was gracious, kind, considerate and helpful. The star at the top of the hotel staff has to be the concierge who made reservations for us for dinners, for a nearly sold out champions league game and arranged for cars, etc. No request was too small or too challenging and they did it all with a smile and a heart for service. I hesitate to name individuals as everyone was wonderful but Alysa in particular made our stay exceptional and deserves special recognition. While there are many lovely hotels in Paris, La Reserve is set apart by its employees who elevate the entire experience and make it extraordinary.

Before I arrived I stayed at a Disney hotel as I had taken my child there for a few days. I was so relieved to get to la reserve and know right away I was in a proper hotel with top class service and amenities. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with professionalism and politeness. The staff could not do enough to ensure my family were taken care of. After being taken to our room we were greeted by our butler and given some lovely arrival gifts like chocolate and champagne. This was a lovely touch. A huge bathroom with a separate room for toilet. I loved the Japanese toilet and tv in the bath. For the turn down service the staff would set you up for the night adding so many small touches like mats beside the bed and tea on your cabinet. The staff overheard me say we need to get nappies and they went to get them for us. These are the fine differences which set these small handful of luxury hotels apart. Only once have I ever had detail like this and it was in the Middle East. I doubt anyone else offers the same standard of service in Paris. The room offered a small balcony which overlooked the street and grand palace. It was a nice location away from the crowds. They also do a house car service which is nice when available. Breakfast was nice as was room service. One of the biggest selling points here is a 24 hour spa in central Paris. This is news to me and I have worked in luxury travel for some time. The fact I could take my child swimming at 10pm to tire him out for bed was really great. I hope to one day return.
