We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and impeccable, we are very grateful to Paul at the Front Office for all the assistance during our stay. We loved the room and the strategic location of the Hotel which gave us the opportunity to throughly explore the city.

Excellent hotel! Ask for Brian, the bell man, for superior service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is the best and the atmosphere very calm and luxurious. I certainly recommend staying at this hotel for business or for tourism.

I generally am a fan of the Mandarin Oriental brand but what is it with the Paris location and soap? We have been here for 5 days now and each day since day 3 I had to ask for soap. Not extra soap. Soap. The hotel has a tub and a shower. Since I like baths, in order to wash my hair, I have to climb out of the tub to get shampoo from the wall mounted dispenser and to get conditioner I have to do it again. Initially we had small tubes of shampoo and conditioner by the bathtub but on day 3 they seem to have dried up. I went to the reception and requested the missing toiletries (assuming they would bring all 3, or at least the shampoo and conditioner), but no. I got another big bottle of soap. Not ideal for washing hair but I guess that is what $2K in Paris gets you. I could go get my own shampoo if this is a problem for Mandarin but at 10pm it might be hard to find. I might also pick up a bath salt while I am at it, since that is also not something the hotel provides. Having just come back from the Mandarin in Singapore, something seems off. Concierge staff is very nice so I have nothing but praise for them, the soap situation is just strange, I think housekeeping doesn’t like me.:)
