Excellent service!

We stay at this hotel everytime we come to Paris (I think this is our 4th or 5th visit). As always, check in was great, our room was clean, we were so happy to be here. We checked in early and it was a bit too warm in the room for us (note: this is a me issue, not a hotel issue - we keep our house at a solid 17 year round - it’s cold, we know). It’s still spring in Paris so the hotel had the heat on in the room and it just couldn’t cool off fast enough for our family (again, this is mainly a me issue - I think for the general population this wouldn’t be an issue at all). We were travelling with a tired and cranky child and just wanted to rest so we stopped at the front desk while out getting food just to ask if there were any options or to see what could be done. This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us - they could have just given us a fan but they switched rooms to a lower floor so it would be cooler, lowered the temperature before we walked in, and opened the windows. After a long day of travel our family is extremely appreciative (and comfortable).

A quaint place to stay in the heart of Paris.

A conference I attended in March was booked through this hotel. I had read a number of reviews and was wondering how it would be. Overall, it was better than I expected. First, we arrived at the hotel at 11:00am and thought we would have to check our luggage until we checked in at 3:30pm. However, our room was ready immediately and we went to unpack. The room was on the fourth floor in the garden section in the back. We didn't expect much for it. The room was fine, but small as you'd expect. However, when we looked out our little round portal hole we had a small view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was amazing and unexpected. The bed and bathroom were great and overall it was pretty quiet. The hotel as a whole was quaint and reflective of an old hotel. The included breakfast was great and the staff was on top of it. The buffet had adequate food, but I wasn't really a fan of the eggs. (It just isn't an American style)...as the bacon as well (a bit more rare). However, their pastries were incredible. I did wish that I knew I could order custom food from the kitchen like an omelette. The front desk was incredibly nice and people were "on-it" in anything we wanted. Prompt, professional and gracious. They worked well with internationals and were always very helpful. As for location, think of it like being in New York, Paris is so big that a couple of blocks takes 10-15 minutes. So, it's really close to the Trocadero, Arch de Triomphe, Metro, etc. so for a large city it was situated pretty well, especially for using the Metro.

This review is a bit late but I have to say that the concierge service was one of the best I've ever exprienced. Jin, in particular, was incredibly helpful and professional. Thanks to him, we had an amazing local expeience from the musums to restaurants like Victor. We absolutely loved our stay. Plus, he truly ubderstands what guests are looking for and goes above and beyond to deliver. Jin's expertise extended beyond Paris- he also gave us fantastic recommendations for Bordeaux and Strasboutg where he lived, which were incredibly helpful. We will defenately come back to this property and encourage our family members to visit as well. + the staff mmembers were all so kind and attentive. Thank you.

Not worth the money! Disappointed in Marriott

As a Titanium Elite member I can say I was very disappointed in the rooms and service of the front desk staff on this trip. My initial stay was 5 nights and was upgraded to a family suite. The suite was small, not well upkept, and musty smelling. We had gotten to Paris a day late since we weren’t feeling well and had decided we wanted to try and extend our trip by one night if we could stay in the same room for convenience purposes, since we had so much luggage. If we had to switch rooms we had decided we would find a nicer hotel. We went down to the front desk staff and I spoke with an African American woman with bangs who had told us that since my initial stay was booked with points she couldn’t extend the original booking, but if I made a new booking for the additional night she could confirm that we could in fact stay in our current room (210). We sat with her through the entire process of making the new reservation, etc. and confirmed this multiple times since we had also debated whether to just return to London on the train the day we had originally planned. Please note that this reservation was made on the night of the 26th. The morning of the 28th arrived and I went down to the front desk to ask two questions 1) if the breakfast buffet they offered was included as a Titanium member (a new service desk female- short Caucasian woman said “yes it is”) 2) I then asked if my key card also needed to be updated due to the new reservation (she said yes and your room is available now). I was extremely confused and told her that I had been promised at the time of booking that we would be able to stay in our current room). She said that since I had booked the “premiere king room” and not the family suite that it wasn’t possible and all the suites were booked. My fiancé and I sat with the other front desk woman while making the new booking and had pointed out to her that the family suite room was not available on the Bonvoy app and she had said that we could book the premiere king room and she would take care of it. None of this seemed to matter to this new front desk female. I told her we had spent 540+ euros to stay an extra night under the specific assumption we didn’t have to pack our things up and switch rooms. At this point I was extremely frustrated and felt defeated that there wasn’t anything she did for me to remedy this situation. I went to the breakfast bar and got a croissant and yogurt and tried to go back to my room to pack and of course my key card wouldn’t work so I had to go back to her yet again. She then proceeded to look at my croissant and yogurt and tell me that “breakfast is not included for me” but to make it up for us having to switch rooms she would “comp the breakfast”. She wouldn’t even give me the key for the other room, and told me I had to bring all our things down to the lobby and checkout before we could move over to the new room. I go down a bit later with my fiancé to checkout and get the key to the new room and there was a very nice tall young African American woman who did what she was supposed to when an elite member checks in and asked me if I wanted the breakfast or points (which was something never asked upon our initial check in). Which just made me more infuriated that a free breakfast was offered to me as a “way to make up for the Major inconvenience”. Here are some pictures from the “premiere king” room. Stains all over the carpet, cracks in the wall, chips and scratches on the walls and furniture. 10/10 not worth the price and will not return based on the customer service

Great view

We loved staying here, we had a view of the eiffel tower. The room was clean, quiet, and we had plenty of toiletries. We were close enough to plenty if restaurants & shops. We walked to the Eiffel tower and the art museum was close too. Very welcoming and fun.
