Valentines in Paris

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 days ago

Beautiful experience with the dreamiest valentines cocktails in the downstairs bar. Pink vodka with verve champagne on too. The bat staff were fabulous and very friendly could not do enough for you. Cannot wait to return! This place is amazing and perfect location next to the Eiffel tower!

Luxurious Stay at Shangri-La Paris

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

My stay at the Shangri-La Paris was exceptional. The service was impeccable, with staff going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The food was phenomenal, showcasing the best of French cuisine. The hotel’s location is perfect, with the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and luxury shopping within walking distance, alongside numerous dining options. An unforgettable Parisian experience. Highly recommended!

Vive le Shangri-La Paris

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

Our second time at the most beautiful Shangri-La property and another pleasant stay! Although we arrived earlier than our check in time, the front desk still helped us arrange our room after we enjoyed a lovely Paris breakfast. For old Chinese people like me, having a Chinese breakfast option is quite nice on longer trips. Le Bauhinia also served the most delicious fruit plate. Proximity to the Eiffel Tower is nice. However, this property is not the closest to the key shopping areas. Not as busy as some of the other high end properties in Paris, which works for us, but may not be as convenient for the shopping enthusiasts. Pool is beautiful and quite accessible with beautiful poolside appointments and coffee. My son was disappointed that the Disney channel was not working properly. Probably the only imperfection on an otherwise perfect stay. Thanks again Shangri-La Paris for the courtesy early check in.

Staff was so attentive especially to our infant and the stay was super comfortable. Felt like we were home. Room was spacious and has nice views. Pool was nice and kids loved it.

Stay somewhere else if you have kids

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We stayed here in 2011 for our honeymoon and it was great. Coming back 13 years later with 3 kids, it’s not. We booked two connecting Eiffel Tower suites. The rooms are fine. The problems and issues however, were many: - Twice we had the Do Not Disturb sign on (our son has day naps) and staff came right in. On one occasion they burst in to take away the in room dining cart. The problem? We didn’t order food. - They locked our safe without asking us and we had to call them to unlock it. - The coffee pods, cups etc were not replaced during our entire 6 night stay. - Housekeeping came but didn’t remove the used glasses, ice bucket, etc. They simply collected them into a corner and left them. - The lifeguard at the pool restricted my daughters to a tiny corner of the pool because “members” were doing laps. My daughters have been swimming since they were 6 months old so her condescending tone was just plain rude. - The restaurant’s food quality is below average. As is the room service. It is also way overpriced. Overall, I would say avoid this hotel. I’m disappointed in our experience and will stay at the Four Seasons next time we are in Paris.
