Sofitel Paris Arc de Triomphe

Had one of the best sleeps I've ever had in any of hotels! Location is great and hotel team very professional. Can highly recommend!

We xame for a business meeting and had lunch at “Les cocottes” because it was recommended to me. I don’t regret at all my choice because the moment I came into the hotel I felt warmly welcomed. There is a warm ambiance and the staff very lovely and helpful. Christian Constant , the chef of the hotel is a top master of cuisine. We enjoyed so much one of his signature dishes : the ravioli with langoustine.

Lobby Area: The lobby is inviting and comfortable, offering plenty of seating options for quick drinks or some quiet reading. 3. Recent and Well-Maintained Gym Equipment: The gym equipment is recent and well-maintained, allowing for a decent workout. 4. Sound System: The Bose speaker in the rooms provides excellent sound quality, enhancing the overall experience. 5. Excellent Service: Service throughout the hotel was very good, adding to the overall positive experience. Cons: 1. Room Fittings: There are several areas where room fittings could be improved. For instance, there are no USB sockets to charge electronics, which is inconvenient for modern travelers. 2. Bose Speaker Connectivity: While the Bose speaker offers nice sound, it can only be connected via Bluetooth, limiting connectivity options. 3. Plastic Glasses in Bathroom: The plastic glasses in the bathroom look a bit cheap, detracting from the otherwise luxurious feel of the room. 4. No Desk in Room: Despite the comfort of the rooms, they do not offer a desk for work, which could be an issue for business travelers. 5. Misleading Hotel Name: The name of the hotel might be misleading as it is located an 8-minute walk away from the Arc de Triomphe, which could be disappointing for guests expecting a closer proximity to the monument. Conclusion: Sofitel Arc de Triomphe in Paris offers a generally comfortable and pleasant stay with spacious rooms, a welcoming lobby area, and excellent service throughout the hotel. However, there are a few areas that could use improvement, such as the lack of USB sockets, limited Bose speaker connectivity, and absence of a work desk in the rooms. The name of the hotel might also be somewhat misleading regarding its proximity to the Arc de Triomphe. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel provides a comfortable base for exploring Paris.

We stayed here twice this month, 4 nights each time. Our stays were great each time. The location is great, very close to Champs Elysee. From the first time we approached the entry, the staff was very nice and helpful. Check in was simple and the individuals could speak with us in French and English, making for a smooth process. The rooms were nice and had modern conveniences. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of choices and even with staying there for 8 nights, we never got tired of the buffet. We ordered in using Deliveroo more than once and the front des always made sure we received our food. The checkout process was easy and we didn’t have any issues (don’t forget that you will have to pay the city tax when checking out). Overall, a great hotel with very nice and courteous staff. I would highly recommend staying here if you can.

People are very friendly and there was good live entertainment at bar but the room is horrible. So small. No room to open suitcase. No storage. Rug is filthy Room is dated and shabby. Even the tv reception is bad. I wanted to ask for a different room but my husband told me to stop complaining so now I'm mad at him too lol oh, the tv reception just went out again. To claim this is five star is absurd.
