The location is great - a stone’s throw away from the Louvre and other spots. The rooms are incredibly small and dingy though - the bed wasn’t made right, scuff marks everywhere, and the wood around the bathtub was peeling off and looked like it’s seen better days. The front desk is also… not great. It’s not because of the staff! They’re great. It’s just that they did not have enough people at all at the reception. None of these are deal breakers but worth keeping in mind

Worst experience ever. Very dirty hotel and very old with damaged furniture. Even the sofas had stains and holes in them which were patched. Rude staff from top to bottom starting with Jean-Marc Michel the General manager and his henchmen Titika Rapanaki-Bigot all the way down to the reception and bellmen. Very petty hotel which will nickel and dime you for the most insignificant items. They don’t even have a coffee machine in the rooms. Their bell boys don’t deliver your shopping unless you’re in the room. Most importantly, I didn’t receive the category of room which I was promised. Wish I had spit in their faces before leaving. When I voiced my concerns to the manager, he said the lack of service is because the hotel is closing soon anyway. I asked for the GM on multiple occasions but he just evades you like a weasel.

Decent hotel, very large, so the rooms vary. We were in a small(er) room which seemed like it was in the attic area. Lol! (meaning we had to almost duck to get to our hallway and out of the window we could touch the roof) It was cute but I would definitely want something different if I stayed here again. Beds were just ok. The hotel is in an excellent location! This is the reason we chose it. Walking distance to many things like the Louvre. Metro station is steps away and only a few stops from Arc de Triomphe.

We have stayed at The Westin in Vendome multiple times since 2015, with the most recent stay in 2024. Over the years, my family and I have appreciated the convenient central location in the 1st arrondissement of Paris and the professional team at the Westin. The GM, Mr. Michel, and the Deputy GM, Mr. Trancher, had dedicated the time to greet us and perfect our stay in Paris. After a long flight, a bottle of champagne, some French macaroons, and a personally written card were magnificent and greatly appreciated. This hotel featured over 400 rooms, and we have had the opportunity to experience various room types throughout our many stays. During our most recent stay in 2024, we were allocated one of the Royal Suites with balconies on Rue de Rivoli and Rue de Castiglione. The well-maintained suite offered unobstructed views of the Tuileries Garden, the Louvre, and the Eiffel Tower. Despite the high occupancy during our recent stay, we were impressed with the courteous front desk associates and greatly appreciated the professional service and follow-through. In conclusion, we are grateful for all the memorable stays and wish the team at The Westin Vendome all the best as they embark on a new journey in 2025.

Staying at the Westin was a massive mistake. The location is fantastic and the lobby was very nice. That’s about it. It’s falling apart slowly and run so poorly. I wish I never booked here. We paid $2,500. more for this hotel than the Melia around the corner because of past experiences w the St Regis but this experience wasn’t even close. We just spent 5 nights in London at a Melia property, the M E and it’s such a stark comparison. Getting off the elevator to our floor I was hit with a bad odor like smelly feet that seemed to float in the hallway. I couldn’t sleep and smelled that smell in our room along w other issues in our room from a leaky faucet, stained sheets and a shower that wouldn’t drain. We complained the next day and Donila (spelling-super sweet manager)changed rooms for us. It didn’t smell so I was happier but it was equally as tired. Besides Donila, It seemed like everyone was going through the motions. Like I said it seems like small items aren’t being handled and we heard the hotel is about to be redone this quarter. The hotel just needs things fixed not a total overhaul. Paint peeling, smelly hallway chairs (1st floor chairs by the elevator are gross and smell. Our kids were separated from us so I sat there waiting for them, so gross) They must’ve sprayed the hallway after we complained because the feet smell went away. Just so disappointed in the Westin and will never stay there again.
