My business trip turned vacation was a refreshing change from the past. It balanced work and relaxation perfectly, with great accommodations inside and out. I loved the steam room, hot tub, and sauna. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent service, beautiful grounds, but rubber shower curtains ((!) and smelly cigars we could smell from our bedroom with closed balcony doors--after having left the room for over ten hours. Also, StayConnect is a poorly functioning app for casting movies. We've never had a problem at other comparable hotels we've stayed at.

We look forward to staying here on our road trips. The staff has been consistently great and we look forward to seeing them as much as we do the hotel.

My experience today at the nutcracker high tea broke my heart. It was supposed to be precious time with my daughter, but instead turned in to a negative experience full of neglect and bad service. First, they forgot to serve us our food at the nutcracker ballet. When I finally noticed we were the only ones not served, they brought us our food in the last 5 minutes of the show (which was stale) and then we were kicked out and forced to quickly ask for a to go box to store the stale sandwiches. I asked for a discount due to this horrible service, and they refused to refund me for the negative experience. Next (I was hoping it couldn't get worse), but it did. There was a long line at the valet, and we ended up waiting an hour for our car. After an hour, I noticed all the guests had left except for us. THEY LOST OUR CAR. In the end we waited a total of almost 90 minutes for our car. For a $400+ experience, when you're hoping to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience with your daughter, I did not expect this. So dissapointed, especially when I asked management for a refund, and they did not give it.

I was born in Pasadena and grew up in Alhambra in the years following WWII. I was raised on stories of the Huntington Sheraton and its ties to movie stars and the Rose Parade. Now, when we return to visit we stay there. No longer the Sheraton, but still the same magical place. When we told family that we stay in Pasadena, the first question was Why? In reality, Pasadena itself has only gotten better over the years. There are excellent restaurants, walkable streets, shopping, and entertainment. Additionally, it is well connected to the rest of LA via a number of freeways.
