Reviews for Pendry Natirar

See you again Natirar!

I came to Pendry Natirar with a few girlfriends for a weekend getaway from the city, and we had such a wonderful time. The property is absolutely stunning, and the food and service exceeded our expectations. Be sure to make a dinner reservation at Ninety Acres—there are so many delicious dishes to try! At the time of my stay, I was 8 months pregnant and treated myself to a 60-minute prenatal massage with Mel at the spa. She was incredibly kind and took the time to listen to my needs, helping my overworked body relax and unwind. We also had the pleasure of taking a farm tour with Melinda, who is such a gem. Her passion for the farm is truly infectious, and I can't wait to return in the spring or summer to see more of the farm and participate in their events.

AVOID. This place is a MESS.

They don’t know how to run a hotel here. I have stayed here for over 3 weeks as I had business in the area and this was the most decent looking option around. I’m extremely disappointed. The service is terrible. Nothing arrives on time. When you call the reception desk from the room it goes to voicemail. I called the desk repeatedly for 30 mins to request someone to help with my luggage prior to checking out. It was hopeless. The room service is always delayed, not to mention the very poor quality of the food. The “chicken soup” which was supposed to be with homemade broth and veggies, came as a dry mush with dried carrots and rice and cubed pieces of stale grilled chicken on a plate with a separate saucer with clearly store-bought broth, to be mixed on the spot. I was flabbergasted, as that is not a soup! They spray a nasty smelling room freshener in the room after they clean and the over-deodorized air coming out of the spa is nauseating. The salt room in the spa is supposed to be a meditative and calming experience, except they have the ceiling lights on at maximum high brightness which makes that experience around the same level of relaxedness as sitting in an interrogation room. Not to mention the lights in the rooms. The same light switch controls all of the lights in the room and there’s no way of not having the extremely clinical and bright ceiling LED lights off while having a friendlier, softer tabletop ambient light on. Overall, it’s a job to stay here and maintain your sanity at the same time. AVOID. They claim to have 5-stars, they’re certainly charging 5-star hotel prices. And, yet, this is a 3-star hotel experience at best.

Hidden Gem in New Jersey

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I am a huge Pendry fan and when I heard about a new one opening in New Jersey, I was a bit skeptical of the location BUT this hotel does not disappoint! I spent two nights with a group of girlfriends for a weekend getaway. The Spa is truly magical and you must make time to spend time a whole day there. Because there are also locals and members, it is important to book your spa appointment as soon as you can to avoid missing out on snagging a treatment. The staff at the Spa were super professional and friendly. We had the privilege of spending some time with Melinda who oversees the farm. Her passion and ideas were so inspiring and I cannot wait to see how they all come to life in the warmer months. Do not miss the pork belly at Ninety Acres! The overall experience at Pendry Natirar was beyond my expectations and I was blown away by the grounds, design, and most importantly the people. I felt like I was in a European countryside. There are also so many areas of the hotel that are gorgeous for gatherings. I highly recommend!

Incredible getaway

Everything from check-in to check-out was 5/5 at this property. My wife & I came here to celebrate my birthday and it was one of the best trips we have ever had. The staff was so incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The food and drinks were delicious. The staff was outstanding. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! We felt so taken care of and felt so relaxed. You truly feel like you are in the English countryside. We did not want to leave. A fabulous retreat and cannot wait to come back.

Beautifully done

This hotel sure does know how to do hospitality. Every detail of the hotel was curated wonderfully. I booked a last-minute stay in celebration of my husband‘s birthday. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade our room and gave us a very beautiful room that we enjoyed very much for the evening as well as a lovely birthday cake and note that was found upon arrival. Every staff member was extremely hospitable and kind except one at reception who was not so friendly, but she did not help us much anyways, and I don’t want to name names. The young gentleman that checked us in and brought us to our room, I believe his name was Kyle was very informative and helpful. The lady that checked us out was also very pleasant to wake up to early in the morning upon departure, the bartender at the bar I believe his name was Rodolfo, you could tell he was the patriarch of the restaurant. He was very fun to encounter and his drinks were fantastic. The spa is extremely beautiful however, the steam room in the ladies locker room did not work that day. The pool in the spa was not a very comfortable temperature. It was not warm. It was actually very cold and you could not stay in the water for more than a few minutes if that . Not sure if the temperature should have been warmer or that their heater wasn’t working that day or the temperature wasn’t set correctly. The massages were also mediocre if we were to return I wouldn’t be going back for another massage. Overall we had a very lovely stay. Ninety Acres, the restaurant does not belong to the hotel. We did dine there which it was very difficult to get a reservation even as a guest of the hotel. The restaurant is super overrated. The food was smothered in sauce practically everything was smothered in sauce, did not quite enjoy it , definitely overhyped, and you could tell that people just go there for the ambience. It was nice to just relax at the hotel and take in the beauty of the environment and the lovely details of the decor of the hotel.
