Very disappointed.
We were really looking forward to visiting this resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and we were really disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of the furniture. There were stains on the carpet, couches, the wood furniture has discolouration. The shower had mold, cobwebs were everywhere, think layers of dust and one of the beds smelled like smoke. We were not told about the road closure and only found out when we arrived. The restaurants weren’t open when they said they would be. We would not come back, especially for the price we paid. The fully stocked kitchen didn’t even include a corkscrew or frying pan. The place is run down and some of the pathways aren’t lit in the dark.

Don’t believe hours of operation for cafe. We knew it closed at 1:30 so rushed the 8 of us to get there and arrived at 1:05 pm to find out they already shut down the coffe machines and only drip coffee available. We didn’t come for drip coffee and who knows if it that would have been hot or old. Small things tell you about any business. Not impressed

Beautiful location and resort
Wonderful weekend get away for a special birthday at this beautifully located fabulous resort. Would like to return in the warmer months to enjoy getting out on the water and stay in one of the lovely cottages.

Beautiful location
Weekend getaway for spouses birthday. Weather cooperated and was perfect for the time of year. Ferrying from Victoria was perfect. Excellent vessel.
