Time spent at The Inn at Weathersfield, set on 21 woodland acres just outside Woodstock in southern Vermont, is time well spent. This lovely 18th century inn known for its distinctive lodging, gourmet dining and award winning selection of wines has been a haven to travelers for over 200 years. Where the concept of rural refinement has been redefined, you'll find sought-after quiet in period accommodations that look out over a grand tree-lined entrance and feature a chill-chasing fireplace.

This inn was everything I hoped it would be. On arrival, we checked in and were given a history of the inn, which was very interesting. We were brought to our room, where everything in the room was explained. The room was beautiful and exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We loved having a fireplace to ourselves! The staff were very attentive and friendly. If you needed anything, they immediately brought it to you. We were there three nights and had three breakfasts and two dinners. The chef there is amazing. The food and atmosphere were perfect. Very cozy with the fireplace lit in the dining area, and it was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We would definitely come and stay again!

Loved our mid-week visit to The Inn at Weathersfield! Close to Woodstock, Springfield, Okemo, etc. Service was attentive. We enjoyed our quiet breakfasts in the restaurant looking out over the snow-covered grounds and sitting by the fire eating dinner together! A cozy enjoyable stay.

What a fantastic getaway: the archetypical Vermont country inn! Great rooms, food and (above all) service. Have been to the Inn many times for birthdays and business dinners, and will be taking the extended family there for Christmas dinner. Intimate setting with private dining available. Drinks by the fireplace...highly recommend!

We (two couples) booked the Inn midweek in later October hoping for a quiet relaxing fall foliage experience even if the peak had passed. Mission fully accomplished. Even past peak, the foliage was enjoyable. Breakfasts and our one dinner in the beautiful dining area at the Inn were great. Ivan, Petar and families were friendly and engaging hosts. The rooms had very individual sizes, shapes and furnishings but both had modern updated bathrooms. Only one or two of the other rooms were occupied during our stay so we can’t comment on noise levels, etc. during full occupancy weekends. Be sure to visit the nearby town of Woodstock.

Wonderful experience. Delicious food, with great coffee and fresh cream every morning. I had a very cozy stay at this wonderfully historic inn. The rooms are thoughtfully prepared and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I would recommend the Inn at Weathersfield to others, and would be happy to come back again.
