We stayed here for a few nights in the build up to Christmas and had a really good stay. We had 2 interconnecting rooms which works well and the rooms were clean and mostly modern. The pool facilities are really good. Reception was always busy but helpful. Well decorated. Would definitely return.

Very impressive hotel with amazing views from our premier king across the Swan river. Would definitely recommend getting the views, just beautiful over the river and perth city for sunset and night. Excellent service, late checkout provided for our 1 night and a nice touch with champagne and chocolate box in the room. Highly recommended for a special get away, true 5*

Long queue at checkin-but staff utilised a separate checkin area to help speed up the process. Room excellent, clean, beautiful view nicely designed. and the most comfiest of beds and softest of pillows. Pool areas were well looked after, with lifeguards and poolside service. Exit the hotel for riverside walks with running/cycling tracks. Liked hotel so much, we booked a further 4 nights there. Silks, Epicurean, The Lobby were all good with friendly cheerful staff. Next trip already booked

We arrived at checkin time and joined a long queue. Half an hour later we were still there. This is a real challenge for elderly people and downright cruel. There were five checkin terminals. However, one staff member spent over 10 minutes sorting out an issue for one lady, and another answered a phone call which lasted about 10 minutes, so in essence there were actually only four available. When it came time to check in, there was no apology for the wait and the system was very slow. When we got to our room (Deluxe King) we were confronted by our view….a collection of roofs right up to the sky. We were already regretting our choice of hotel after this experience.. We won’t be back.

We have just returned home from a one-night family staycation at The Crown Towers. It was a truly terrible experience from start to finish, culminating in over six hours of vomiting and diarrhoea from suspected food poisoning. To begin with, the larger of the two pools was closed for their “Sets on Sunday” event, leaving us with nowhere to sit for us or our two children to access the pool. We were eventually given access to the pool at Crown Metropole, but didn’t stay long due to the overwhelming presence of seagulls, constantly swooping down en masse to devour any food they could find around the pool area. Later, we dined as a family of four at Epicurean, their upscale buffet. Shortly after dinner, my husband felt sick and then spent the entire night suffering from severe vomiting and diarrhoea, which seems to be food poisoning from our dining experience. Save your money, and your health, and avoid this place!
